Space Engineers - Nomad Survival Rover, Tour and Blueprint Update 

You're criminally underrated bro, this is one of the coolest designs for a rover that I've ever seen.

Started playing a month or so ago. Im pretty well established so I’m going to attempt a print of this vehicle. Wish me luck. This game is so awesome.

thats badass, then theres me years into the game on like my 10000th restart and proud of my flying minecraft mudhouse with jump drive and all my main systems exposed from every angle even that took me days to build lmao some ppeople sre just really good at design and you are one of them brother

I think this would be great with a rocker-bogey suspension. Also a no-dlc version would be awesome.

Hey man, Nice rover. Can I suggest using Build Vision, sooooo much easier to go into a block when you're looking at it and name it directly from that menu. Best tool on the game.

LOL, I didn't know you were the one who designed this rover when I commented about building one of these myself by hand from the blueprint a couple weeks ago. I'm always looking at new stuff on the workshop and had probably picked up the blueprint when it was posted or might have been front page on popular new stuff, I can't remember. I just found your channel when you started the Wasteland series and since your youtube name and your steam name are different I didn't connect them up and was seriously pissed for a minute thinking you were claiming somebody else's design until I looked up the blueprint and saw it linked back to your youtube page. Once again LOL.

I hate designing anything in Space Engineers because I massively overthink things. A single room could take me weeks to design because my inclination is to overengineer it. That being said, I think your ship is an excellent combination of aesthetics and functionality. The only thing I might add, for the sake of the mining ships, is a "trough" of sorts, with collectors at the bottom, so that miners could simply fly overtop of it and dump their ores without having to land.

Very nice rover! 😅 I kinda want to turn my drilling rover into a potential mobile base off sorts. It's honestly just missing a refinery and assembler. A new design may be in the works.

BTW I love how your videos combine elements of showcase, actual building and tutorial. Makes them enjoyable to watch. Wow. I like the look - it looks sleek despite being a sizable rover. All of my ships and such end up looking like WW1-era battleships - sturdy but kinda stubby and pudgy-looking.

Running on an Intel quad core from 2008. GTX 560 video card. 8 gigs of ram....ddr2. Game runs smoother now than it did when my comp was new....er lol

Thie is a great looking Rover, even after a year it's still the best Rover in the workshop. I've currently imported it and slowly desecting it to build my own Rover for survival. Thanks for sharing. Have any other builds you want to share?

I actually put a few air vents on a modified version of your Pioneer!

I have a design question. Why don't you place welder next to your gatlingturrets on top of the Nomad? If a air vent can fit there, you could replace the conveyer with a welder. The sound you mentioned in 26:22 is normal for a grid with thrusers on it. Sometimes you can still hear the sound while the thrusters are off. It helps to turn the whole grid off and on again.

I worked on maximum, storage = weight carry, mining rover(without drills, with shipconnector on top). But i kinda failed but had some good designs tho.

Would it be possible to do a tutorial for your mining ship or a tour? I think it looks awesome wish I could build something like that rover
