My suggestion is still an Interplanetary Network of Satellites, utilizing the Satellite Antennas, that directly connect to other Satellite Antennas and therefore cannot be picked up by Reavers, and also have MASSIVE ranges, so can be spread out decently far. But it would give you access to any base, on any planet, from anywhere in the solar system. You could also, potentially, outfit each satellite to be capable of housing your character, with only basic necessities and a survival kit. This way, you can technically survive just about anything. Sort of like a Horcrux Satellite Network.

I like the irony on this video. I just bought the game and started on Triton. I'm currently flying to mars for a planet with hopefully a little more scenery (want to use ground vehicles, so the alien planet seems a little to unfriendly to wheels). But not building a jump drive, I think I'm in hour 7 of my flight now lol.

A way that you could get your material down there is by doing what you did in a previous season. Instead of doing catapult's, set up antennas between the ship and Triton and fly them down from the surface remotely .

always make sure you put small grid batteries onto your drop pods. depends on who owns that Instinct FFG. the SPRT one is worse for wear but very well armed.

Since you spawned Triton so close to Pertam it could be a fun project to try building an automated ice shipping operation from a mining facility on Triton to an ice warehouse on Pertam, perhaps using the Path Auto Miner script, which supposedly has "shuttle mode" automation too. Not sure if it works with the latest SE build but could be a fun experiment.

I started watching this series on Monday, and just caught up yesterday! Perfect timing lmao, I love this series. I wish I could play SE, but my computer broke in July, and I haven't been able to fix it

I've been itching to build on Triton. Europa would be great for a hydrogen facility, but Triton just looks better.

A suggestion for power - the windmills don't have to be built vertically, they can be built horizontally. This has the benefit of getting 4 turbines per pillar. They also only check for wind clearance in the 4 cardinal directions (relative to grid). If they are built horizontal, they can stack vertically without blocking the wind for the others

So, power... Guess the kids today don't think that's needed on subgrids these days... Merry Klangmas

idk if your SE version is different, but while you have your welder on, you can right click(or left click idk) a block and the required materials will be added to the build planner, you can then middle mouse click on a container to get those items, speeding up the process to build stuff

The merge blocks on the side could be used for docking to your base, so you don't burn out your landing pad. You could make a somewhat modular system where instead of cargo containers you have a mining vehicle and a welding vehicle that drop with you.

OH man, just one of those industrial hydrogen tanks is more than I ever needed for like 4 ships, and the thing was impossible to fill up completely. Having 4 of them is totally mental, unless you're powering Star Fleet.

you didn't add battery to drop pad, so they have disappeared. from the other hand, the parachute should hold that ship. Thx for some ideas XD

I was feelin it so bad.. I just wanna help be the technician while you do the voice over and vids. Lol I can be like your intern engineer on some vids. I do have good microphones and obs studio to get ya some extra angles.. Sorry I am chattin' ya up in the youtube comments lol, I just think it would be cool to join ya for some survival. I mean even mid series we could spawn a small craft to crash land or something, and we could team up, and if I stop playing with ya for any reason, you could just say that I died lol. but it would be fun to share some of my design methods and tricks while playin with ya!

I literally watched you build those cargo drops and was like...wait don't you need a battery?

Check out one of the Oxygen thruster mods!

You wouldn't have to cannibalise your ship. You just need a connector to attach it to a grid. I have been bumped by one of those rolling probes and died. One of the reasons I am not playing this game now. They need to fix some of these issues. You die way too easily. Things de-spawn too quickly. Like your back pack. The last straw was that I was killed by the probe that kept flying off every time you get near it. WHY? Then even though I went straight back to get my back pack it literally de-spawned right in front of me. I lost good tools.

why didn't you land whit the drop pods
