@@СашаНеизвестный-о2м Inefficient builds can and will prevent you from completing this mod either at all or in a reasonable amount of time relatively speaking
@@alexanderhetzel8271 I had never played either of these mods and thought it would be a good way to pass the time before the DLC, especially since Sapce Exploration will probably need a major overhaul and I wanted to see the original. I am now 30-something hours in, I have launched 10 or so rockets, I still haven't figured out how to leave the planet myself, and I considered Sudoku when I saw that I still need two entirely new science packs which I can't manufacture on Nauvis to get logistic chests. These mods are absolutely insane 😅
Never in my life have I felt as helpless and weak than 13:59 when I wanted to scream but as reported I could not stop you from putting glass and wood on the same belt
I suggest spending more time in the jan Misali corner of RU-vid. Attempted Translation (from someone with a Toki Pona dictionary and a vague understanding of the language's concept): Communicate! Everyone needs to know how to speak [me/us] ?? parents know Toki Pona However, you may know Toki Pona you're strong!
@@timothymclean Here's a better translation, I think: Hello! If you want to understand what I'm saying, learn toki pona! However, if you can understand toki pona, you're very powerful!
god speed you mad man for attempting this, ive been working on the same modpacks, im 300 hours in and still working on iridite and holmium processing, it requires so many resources that you will be depleting dozens of mines once you hit the "mid game"
As someone with a love-hate-relationship with SE+K2, I love seeing how others tackle the challenges and sloooooooooowly lose their minds. I wish you the best of luck and success, here's to 700h of Factorio condensed into a digestable format as always. Love your videos, keep it up!
Y'know, I was just reading the Krastorio FAQ, and how it has "native compatibility" with Space Exploration. I didn't think anyone would be crazy enough to try.
Had this playing in the background while I was playing Supermarket Simulator, completely spaced (ha) out and had a full panic attack when I heard the 'entity destroyed' sound Anyway great video, I've been fiending for Factorio content while waiting for Space Age
For those wondering the text translates to this btw: "Hello! If you want to learn my language, come and learn Toki Pona! But if you can understand Toki Pona, then you are powerful!"
Pollution "seems to travel much faster over water" because ground tiles absorb pollution but water tiles do not, so it diffuses into the surrounding chunks more as the pollution isn't being absorbed on the way.
I did this combo of mods as well but included Rampant and AAI. A lifesaver of an early game mod is Mining Drones as it makes a lot less pollution to mine early game. All in all, I think I have like 100 mods in my Factorio ranging from the complete overhaul to just nice quality of life or aesthetic changes (like Disco Science Labs).
@@zacharymacleod1146 It is ALOT worse than this; I went through SEK2 thinking it is complicated until I started Seablock, and changed my mind. Then I started Pyanodons and realized that both mods (combined) are on easy mode in comparison. God almighty please give me strength to finish Py.
The Trinity of stupid suffering has now played K2+SE. (These guys are crazy good but let's be honest, some of their challenges are totally insane) I'm starting my first ever run of modded factorio with K2. Cheers
Good luck Chief! I'm a couple hundred hours into my K2SE playthrough, and hitting a wall with the exoplanet materials! With 2.0 looming, it's gonna be a rush to complete it before the expansion. I'm sure Earendel is also going to have a huge SE upgrade shortly thereafter too!
Oh dear... well, I'm all in for this stuff! I know there's blueprints out there that can help (including my own, and no, the green circuit ratio is not the same, it's inverted or 1:2, i forget) Buuuut it wouldn't be the docjade experience if it wasn't spaget' 'n forget design philosphy, so I'll just shut up and ignore it for now =p
What, no BZ? Coward :P In all honestly, looking forward to continuing to watch this series, whilst quietly weeping and regretting my life choices as I try and get bakelite shipped by train and curse the need for yet more alumina, whilst ignoring my major silicon deficit and pretending that Nickel didn't run out 12 hours ago.
playing K2+SE+BZ for all the ores to make the factory grow bigger than the planet. want to explore space blind so sadly don't want to watch video's as I just made it to space and finished the first space science. god save my ore sorting facility for 2x10 trains.
Just to compare the gameplay extent of the K2SE mod to vanilla Factorio: In vanilla launching a rocket completes the game, in K2SE it only completes the prologue...
K2 + Space exploration reminds me alot of modded minecraft, really want to play it now but the time commitment... eh, I'll just live vicariously through you
Google translate complete failed to translate that 'toki a! [etc]' text at 16:14, so I have no idea what it ways. The best I got was something about moving right and china subscribing to you?
I've completed K2 but attempts at space exploration I always abandon. Biggest issue for me is how to intergrate core miners and i just say scew it and give up.
1:17 yeah, kinda. All SE Maps have such a nice spot because there is a setting in the SE mod settings that always generates such a spot 1:25 yes you do. But really slowly
Do want to be careful when mining the astroids. I dont know if it is this mod or another mod I was also using but I believe those asteroids could have damaging uranium.
You regenerate health VERY slowly, so save your medkits for when you're actually in combat. You have to go to space to research bot logistics, though you get the passive provider and storage chest with blue science, like usual. If you hate fluids now, you're going to despise super coolant. Pyroflux is a mid-game fluid used in a few recipes (one tier of science, iirc? It's been a couple years since I played SE), but mostly for increasing smelting productivity. You'll be using a lot of it late game. Stockpile what you get from core mining for now though, it can be useful to knock out a few things that require pyroflux without having to get it from another planet immediately. Don't try to megabase Nauvis, it's not worth the investment. Build production as needed, but don't stress about trying to overbuild/future proof things (though it doesn't look like that's a concern, going by your glass production. You'll need waaaay more than that). Space machines can't accept productivity modules, so you want to do as much complex crafting as possible planetside. The Space Elevator trivializes interplanetary logistics. Once you get one setup, rocket fuel is hardly a concern anymore. You can set them up on outposts too, but honestly I never had any issue with just launching cargo rockets from the outposts. Put nuclear fuel in a delivery cannon. You WILL forget to load it into your outpost building rocket at some point.
I'm pretty sure dockjade is currently at a much further point than what is shown in the video, but I think part of the fun is not giving him detailed information, and let him discover how things will turn out!

Its been years since i last watched factorio. Im really looking forward to more of this. And thank you so much for this video! Spending 6+ hours ingame (and then having to edit after) for a sub 1 hour video. Truly appreciated! Dropped a like too.
