Over ten years after the historic feat of Red Bull Stratos, Felix Baumgartner reveals behind the scenes of his audacious space mission. On October 14, 2012, the daring Austrian skydiver, at the age of 43, emerged from a capsule placed almost in space, at an altitude of about 40 km, to begin a free fall towards Earth. In just 34 seconds, he reached the speed of Mach 1, breaking the sound barrier without the aid of an aircraft. During the mission, Baumgartner reached an altitude of 62,000 feet, passing the Armstrong Line, where blood boils without a pressure suit.
