Space Marine 2 FIRST MISSION Playthrough!

I've been watching theRadBrad video game playthroughs for over 10 years, and he's got a Space Marine 2 playthrough out today, but he's got absolutely no clue about 40K lore. Guilliman could show up in a cutscene and he'd be like, "ok, cool." Watching you geek out over every little detail in the opening minutes convinced me to watch your playthrough for this game. But could you please add subtitles for the coming vids? Would help us to pick up all the plot points and lore details in the game.

New Loremaster video on Lt Titus came out today with new lore here it is: Born 80 years before, in Ultramar, Hive Fleet Behemoth attacks ->Titus fought on Macragge as a newish batle brother -> promoted the sgt of 2nd company under Cpt Trajan after Cpt Aggemon went to 1st -> for 100 years cleaned tyranids out of Ultramar for a while and Titus becomes his 2nd in command destined for leadership but refuses it -> 2nd company go to Beta Archus to free planet from Eldari where Titus kills 3 honor guars and Cpt Trajan kills warhawk -> LEANDEROS (UNBELIEVABLE) gets captured on planet while they are leaving -> Cpt Trajan gets killed in the rescue and Titus takes command -> Titus recovers captains body -> Calgar gives TItus command of 2nd company after returning home to honor captain -> events of Space Marine 1 at some point during his tenure as successful leader of 2nd company -> LEANDEROS SNITCHES AND BACKSTABS HIS CAPTAIN -> He gets taken by Inquisitor Thrax for examination who was already suspicious of space marines -> SInce Titus unowingly aided a demonic possesed inquisitor in Space Marine 1 he was "guilty" -> Cato Sicarius, who was from a noble Ultramar line replaces him since TItus is now in Inquisitor Prison and this was deemed shameful upon the chapter. Cato was passed up as Captain for 8th company and so was perfect for this role Calgar deemed -> Tituis was in a cell for 100 years but had no sign of corruption -> Calgar kept asking for TItus back but no one ever got back to him (seems ridiculous I wish they had a better explanation) -> Inquisitor Thrax during this time personally discovered the corruption of the Astral Claws (Now Red Corsairs) and 5 other chapters laeding to his support from the grey knights and terra -> On his 7th chapter purge to chaos he gets corrupted himself and grey knights kill him -> Ordo Mallus investigates his fortress with the chapter red hunters -> They find Titus and other space marines and rescue them -> Titus (now Nullus) enters deathwatch out of shame and no word from home -> Rises in ranks and fights leviathan for 100 years -> Titus's squad dies in a last stand on jungle world Kadaku but Titus is saved by Ultramarine reinforcements who were on route after the events of Plague Wars -> 1st Captain Aggemon and Chief Librarian Tiguris arrive on Titus's old 2nd company ship -> They discover TItus -> They saved him through primaris surgery -> Becomes Lt of 2nd company under Cpt Ackerim who took the role after Catos disappearance during the Novel Knights of Macragge and now subsequent reinstatement as Honor Guard Captain -> Titus remembers Capt Ackermin as a young neophyte when Titus was captain of 2nd company -> TItus is give command of a demi company of 2nd company for the events of Space Marine 2

That was a good first mission. The Death Watch are awesome! An honourable last play as a firstborn Space Marine before playing Primaris Space Marine.

Love your enthusiasm. A few others I’ve watched have been playing for days already and are just like “this is this, that is that, chainsword go brrrrr” Will for sure what your full playthrough. For the Emperor!

Moral of the story is everyone worried about Clive Standen as Titus had nothing to worry about. He’s killing it.

I finally got the game today and my one word to describe it is INTENSE. Every time you get into a fight you have to pay attention to your enemies and, as much as you might want to, you can't just charge in like Leeroy Jenkins. You have to be somewhat careful and genuinely fight with skill not brawn. Love it!

I really hope you can do a whole series of the Campaign. Its so fun to watch and entertaining. There are other gamers getting 1000s of likes for there playthrough of the game and they done even know what a Space Marine is or any of the Lore. They should be watching this. Hope you continue this journey man.

I’m 7 minutes in, I reeeeaally hope the Mechanicus transmission continues like the first game: > REQUISITIONING ADEPTUS ASTARTES ULTRA > …SENDING IN THE ULTRAMARINES Dude, I will lose my noodles if that is how the prologue ends. I don’t care if people call me a Smurf fan, say they’re vanilla, whatever. I painted my first Ultramarine in 1998, third edition, pre-Matt Ward by many years. They are my favorite chapter, and Guilliman my favorite primarch, flaws and all. They deserve their redemption arc, that Titus started, to continue. Show the hobby/fandom that the 13th Legion are awesome again.

Valrak, I've been following you since the early days of Eternal Crusade. You are a shining example of faith to all Astartes. It's been a wild ride, brother.

I'm more of a helmet on guy but as all cinematic show Titus without it, I think it looks better without helmet.

Praise be to the Emperor, now this is what I've been waiting for and can't wait to play myself tomorrow. For the helmet? Off, main characters need no helmets. It's a 40K rule, Primarch Guilliman was fine without one in the void for a while, surely Titus is just as main character-y. The codex says to wear a helmet, too bad we don't read that garbage book. you know what they say "The flesh is weak, but deeds endure".

Only game ever I've just blinding selected hardest difficulty off the RIP. I mean come on Angel of Death is siiiiick, no healing really changes the game, gotta be perfect, a real Astartes! And I can say this prologue mission gets you ready, if you can do the prologue on Angel the rest of the game is super doable, with your brothers!

Edit; add subtitles please.. Just want to mention this. Veteran is the intended difficulty from the developers (also says this on the difficulty setting) So before anyone says anything about campaign lenght, keep this in mind! As obviously an easier setting makes the game faster (as well as exploration) I highly recommend starting on veteran, its tough, but you quickly adapt to the style of combat through this!

I want to watch, but I also don't want to watch. I'm looking forward to Monday when it's posted through the door. I've been excited for games before, but this is another level. Bring forth the emperors fury 😎

Jackfrags just uploaded a 6 hour video and the game isn't even out. I really don't understand why there isn't a restriction of uploading videos until the game actually comes out.
