I kinda think the Inquisitor isn't buying Leandros' word on it. If he really believed he was corrupted, he would have detained Mira and Leandros too and disarmed Titus before letting him aboard.

The hilarious part is, Leandros didn't even follow the Codex correctly while whining about how you have to follow the Codex

I think that Inquisitor Thrax does not believe Leandros's story. For one he never had Titus disarmed, and he also did not bring in Leandros in for interrogation either since he would have been exposed to some of the Warp as well. He also gave Titus the choice to surrender, even though the only other choice was being marked as heretics, I feel that if he had thought Titus to be corrupted he would not have given him any options and would have immediately disarmed him and have him hauled away or even killed on the spot. At least that is my opinion.

I love the voice acting in this game. Mark Strong is very good as Titus.

The Inquisitor more likely don't believe in Leandros, if he did, then he would ask to detain: Mira, Leandros, the Ultramarines there, AND disarm Titus.

Sif a Space Marine chapter would let the Inquisition cart off one of their captains. Wars have been fought over just this sort of thing.

Titus has very clearly fallen under the chaotic influence of Khorne. He gets health back by fucking orcs to death with his chainsword and creating a warp portal on the bottom of his foot effectivily teleporting or skulls directly to the skull throne.

Is it me or was the final battle with Grimskull far more worthy as a boss fight? I think they should have has multiple encounters with Grimskull instead of Chaos plodding around, also... YOUR ON A FORGE WORLD! WHERE ARE ALL THE DAM TANKS!

I forgot how awesome an ending this was to an pretty good game. Now I really want to a sequel to this where Titus is forced to serve penance in the Death Watch.

And Rowboat Girlyman gives Titus right. The Codex Astartes are a set of guidelines and not laws.

So explain the Grey Knights... They live, fight, and are constantly exposed to chaos and yet not one of their numbers have ever been submitted.

I think that Lieutenant Mira deserves a promotion to Commander of her own unit of Imperial Guardsmen after this. Probably a medal as well for bravery.

i found the final bosses minions to be harder than the actual boss and was a bit dissapointing as all you had to do was button mash to kill him

Leandros was right for turning Capt Titus over to the High Command for his Chaos resistance, but he is still in the wrong. Leandors only saw what the rules of the Space Marine stood for. He didn't think pass what he believed in like Capt. Titus did. Titus understood he had great resistance to the warp but he wanted to know why and even use this new-found knowledge to give him an advantage over Nemeroth. Rather than charge Titus as an agent of Chaos, praise him for showing a way to not only defeat a Daemon Prince but save an entire Titan class planet from war and corruption.

We need a fucking sequel. LIKE NOW!

I think Titus is going to be inducted into the Grey Knights due to his resistance to chaos. Since the identity of each Grey Knight is a secret, the Inquisitor has to disguise Titus' disappearance as an execution or whatever. Explaining the situation to Titus would be pointless since every new Grey Knight has his memory wiped anyway. This would have made for an awesome sequel...just picture fighting daemons with force weapons and psychic powers. To bad THQ went under :(

I wish there had been a sequel, with Titus now being a member of the Deathwatch. With a multiplayer co-op Kill Team , pick not only specialty's but also Chapters

This Inquisitor Thrax actually seems like a reasonable bloke. Going by what I've seen of the trailers for Space Marine 2, I suspect he's recruited Titus into the Deathwatch.

I always liked how there were 3 different Space Marine chapters in this game; it's rare to see different chapters in one game.

This was actually a great slash em up of a game. I would buy number 2!

Seas boiling and being gathered up to ships, bio-titans, worms eating up all biomass and being harvested. The Inquisition and missions in a hive-city. GOMORRA. The possibilities of carnage..

For all we know Titus could be a Psychic Blank.

My guess is Inquisitor Thrax wasn't really there to arrest Titus but to recruit him for secret mission. Thrax needed someone who's a kickass space marine that can withstand the Chaos corruption. This would make a perfect setup for a sequel game.

the thing i don't get about this. Is that since he can resist the warp. Isn't he pretty much qualified to be part of the Grey knights. It just seems like that's where it's going with the whole inquisition deal.

Titus is an UltraMarine, bearing the geneseed of Roboutte Gulliman, who was/is a primarch and son of the emperor himself, therefore the space marine legions closest to the original geneseed of the emperor (and im just speculating here) are the "grandsons" of the emperor, also the emperor was the only human to completely shrug off the effects of the warp and of the forces of chaos, hence his psychic beacon being the only way humanity can traverse the warp and well...they say talent skips a generation or two ;] (hinting at certain space marines and or chapters as a whole taking attributes directly from The God Emperor of Man.) But don't quote me lol.

They could've made a sequel to this. C'mon! Give us the second game already!

Its really telling that I usually HATE games that end with you in a sort of free fall semi QTE bullet hell thingy, but in this one I had the biggest, dumbest grin on my face and laughed in delight as I punch the shit out of that big Chaos asshole. I love that it doesn't try to be difficult, it just makes you feel like a badass, which stuff like this rarely is.

This game was epic!

He can resist the touch of the warp because hes whats known as a 'blank', this basically means you have a kind of null-zone effect about you and thus can never use/receive warp based influences, its extremely rare but its not unheard of.

It's difficult to show humanity in such brutal world like warhammer

I like the fact that the Inquisitor does not even bother to disarm a guy who was just told to be possibly a heretic and he just walks into the vehicle casually.

I bet that Leandros thought that he would be recognized as a hero for selling Titus at the inquisition, but instead he is ignored and disgraced by the rest of the marines

It'd be really neat to see Colonel or General Mira leading the 203rd Cadians in SM2. If she and Titus met again, maybe she could make a joke about outranking him now.

I think a sequel to this should've been a sort of Mass Effect style game where Titus is part of the inquisitor's retinue, seeking answers to his resistance to the warp while uncovering corruption along the way.

Space Marine 2 is real. John "Total Biscuit" Bain would have loved to see this!
