Wow, stunning ambient! I don't understand the "space marine meditation" title, as it suggests to me more of the Gregorian chanting or dark military music from an oppressive dictatorship. But I guess the image of this type of character has evolved a lot in the last years.

Personal Log: I have never considered myself to be a particularly devout individual. Never went to prayer school, didn't read the holy scriptures, and never really thought too much about discussing faith with other people. I believed what I believed, and that was always enough. I have been separated from my team, and I found myself in an old temple where civilians are taking shelter. Many are unable, with a few unwilling, to leave, and no transports are currently available to evacuate them. Even now, the enemy marches to this place, and very few have hope. I could give in to despair like many here, for I alone cannot defeat this enemy. I could abandon them to their fate and survive to strike another day. Yet, as I sit here, alone, I hear their chanting. Some might say it is just sound, but it brings a strange peace to all of those gathered. Even I, who have never been pious, feel something stir within my soul. There is a serenity and clarity of thought I haven't had in a long time. Whatever choice I make, I will have to make it soon. But until that time, I will allow myself this moment of peace.

And pray that me and my brothers will not. ...I am uncertain if I will hold myself back. ...Hate and Rage took over, focusing at hand. The White Scars gave us a ride through the scorching deserts. I have never felt so free... I hope my brothers felt the same way. We took part of the White Scars' spiritual and cultural dance. Had a feast and drinks, around the flaming bonfire, under the night sky. Laughing about here and there. It brought me smiles seeing my brothers dancing, singing and laughing under the night sky. It was a reassuring time, sharing eachothers' stories, good and bad. Forgetting the pain and despair that haunts me every step of the way. Tears ran down my eyes that night. ...Brothers. I hope you all are watching. For that we stand strong. For those we cherish, we will die in glory..."

I don’t know why but this makes me more focused and find it easier to meditate to this rather than any other mediation music that’s out there. It feels more ethereal, spiritual - but also has a cold, stoic undertone to it. Great job 👏

And they shall know no fear… The emperor protects. It is ridiculous to some people, but I find strength in 40k lore and characters for my daily life. It helped me to go trough depression, find motivation to achieve some goals and walk on the path I chose to follow.

Brothers, I can hear the clanking of bolter shells .... the distant sounds of imperial screams ..... the flames of war have scarred me beyond recognition. 2,000 years I have towed the line, and for 2,000 years, I have witnessed the rise and fall of so many great brother astartes..... I could only do so much with my bolt pistol, my narthecium. There is so much loss... I lament each of their deaths every day. During my meditation, when I can quiet the warpstorms of my inner neuronica sanctus. But I can't fully escape the carnage that has ensued over that time. I can still vividly recall the quiet praises I received during my time in medical school. What promise I showed, what a gifted doctor I was. What a joke. Nearly all of what I know has been wasted. Reduced to the defending of my own Geneseed. Rarely do i have the pleasure of saving a single soul. Rarely, am i blessed in rescuing anyone. However, don't for a second think that I have hated towards them. No one loves more than an apothecary. Albeit a silent love for those, he both saves and loses. I am just so, very tired, brothers. The agonizing passage of time. Has done me no favors. Nor will there be enough for me to sanctify my sins. I can still hear their voices. What their favorite drinks were, what jokes they laughed at. Yes, I know we astartes can't consume enough liquor, or wine to phase our biology. But have you ever considered. That maybe, some astartes aren't so stoic. Perhaps some brothers might just enjoy the finer aspects of lesser mortality? *sigh* My sincerest apologies, I shan't dwell in the walls of my neuronica Sanctus for too long. Been preparing a Deathwatch game for a few friends. This the perfect thing to listen to as I refresh on the rules and write out the adventure. It feels like I'm a Watch Captain preparing strategies to send his squads into some shady backwater to face against enemies unknown.

The main thing that matters - is you. Only you can understand yourself, look in, deep inside you, find your inner voice, subconsciousness. It's your best friend, it's always with you. Your every decision is consulted between you two. Your inner self is the only one who you can really trust, be opened up to it, live in harmony with it, it's on your side. When you listen to this music, try communicating with it. If you rely on it, you alone will become unbreakable. My subconsciousness is much wiser than my consciousness. Much much wiser, it developed this way because I didn't restrain it, I was always opened up to thinking. The more you think the stronger it gets, the wiser you become. So I think all the time, about whatever happens in my life, always thinking. You can even call me an overthinker. People either want my attention or they don't, in this case I am not paying attention to that, because I don't really need anyone but myself. It doesn't mean that I can't enjoy time with some people, I can, even together with those who are opposite to my personality. But obviously non of them can truly understand me, non of them want to. Maybe I would want to find a person that can but it's near impossible. And do I even need to? I don't know. Despite how much I think, there is almost nothing that I know. I know so little, how can I be confident in anything? Sometimes it's absolutely necessary, then I act. Anyway, you have to stay strong, stay positive. Search for ways to become better, you can always be better. If something went wrong or not as you expected, you did something wrong, somehow you let it happen, how did you let it happen? Think this through. The life is hard, it really is. Everything in life is hard but what strong people do? They don't cry about it, they take responsability and accept as the life is. They find good in this world, they do good, they stay true to righteous way even tho it's much harder than easy and bad way of living. Stay strong, think positively and keep to your own, righteous path. Never betray yourself.
