Love the competitive short format videos make more of these too! I do like the Monday knight videos but the competitive ones have a good speed to them.
That admech army is a million times better than post dark angels codex. Fml. God I hope gw isn't so stupid to think this is in any way a reflection of dark angels post codex. This is the worst case scenario in a lot of ways. Of course I could play a cheesy ironstorm list but I should just be able to play inner circle and ravenwing hunters WITH all of my datasheets (unnerfed) and all of my models. Looks over at blood angels and space wolves armys and tells them "when you lose all your shit then I'll lose mine but until then".
@@ravensshade the codex is not the issue. It's a mediocre codex but if they all are mediocre the game will be better for it. That is not the issue at all. The detatchments are interesting enough and do have play. The actual problem was the nerfing to datasheets and the unnecessary legends to units like attack bikes and land speeders and the talonmaster and the captain on bike... it just didn't need to happen weather they make the models still or not is quite literally irrelevant because there's plenty in the wild anyway. Obviously gw just wants you to buy so that's the one and only goal. Take deathwing knights... so one of the 3 nerfs maybe okay we can deal with it. But to make their ballistic skill from 2 to 3 and then take their dmg from 3 to 2 when they only have 1ap anyway and then to make the unit restricted to 5 (equivalent would be death company restricted to 5) it's just too fucking much all at once and keep in mind their points didn't go down at all. And the terminator command squad just gone altogether is a huge hit in more ways than one also. Talonmaster was literally iconic in two ways and no one cares if you don't make the kit anymore gw that doesn't mean you remove it from play altogether. Deathwing knights will never ever be the anvil it once was known for and the entire reason it existed. No command squad which arguably is what dark angels players loved so much about deathwing in general. The strike Master deathwing got legend as well also without warrant, also unnecessary and not called for. Land speeders as iconic as they were also legend even though they already were nerfed into the ground. Attack bikes which everyone owns and people appreciated as an alternative to list building (white scars and ravenwing). Let's not forget the famous landspeeder dark Vengeance... with the biggest Plasma gun in the lores history (weapons of the dark age, also removed for 10th before these nerfs) went from dmg 3 to dmg 2 so now suddenly those huge Plasma guns are the same as a infantry Plasma gun? Not warranted and uncalled for. I mean what the fuck, where do we say just play the index datasheets with the new detatchments because the shit just wasn't justified. No one ran any of this stuff before that's because it was never even in the running nevermind overpowered. But hey there's black knights right... those seem decent... just whatever you do you better sell them before 11th edition because they WILL be legends by then.
What are you talking about?! The admech play was almost tabled AND lost on points. I highly doubt any codex will be worse than the Admech one this edition since it was writen before the edition launch and GW way overestimated Admechs datasheets powerlevels.
Was excited to see some dark angels but this is pretty much iron hands minus azarel, including list style. I know we are weak in the moment but please play games with theme and flavor, I think I would have liked this with a iron hands character instead tbh
