wonderful battle report! looking forward to seeing more from both armies (especially the gsc ones, always love seeing people playing tricky armies). Might want to check the edits a bit more, some of them were a little too fast paced, and i would have loved to seen a little more of the in between rounds, or the though process the players went through to bring in certain units in certain places. Like, no clue why he brought in a Kellermorph from DS that late in the game. Also, ngl if it wasn't for all the vehicles, I wouldn't know which detachment the gsc were playing xd
I’m personally thinking imperial knights are in the Amazing category. Titanic units can do actions and shoot! Also little armigers are battle line so that’s awesome in pariah nexus
There are two sub-phases in the Fight Phase. Phase One is the Fights First phase where all units with the "Fights First" ability are eligible to fight. You gain this ability via datasheet (like the Lion has), or by charging, performing a heroic intervention, or being a target of the Counter Offensive stratagem. The fight order for this sub-phase works just like normal, with the defending player getting to activate and fight with one of their units first, and then alternating back and forth until all "Fights First" units are finished fighting. Phase Two is the Remaining Combatants phase where everyone else gets to fight. Again, the defender gets to pick the first unit to fight, and then the players alternate. It's not too complicated once you realize that there are basically two fight phases (and both phases follow the same alternating activations starting with the defending player).
The additional AP to Inner Circle Companions and Deathwing Knights are amazing. Ran ICC's in a game and they were ripping apart Dreads, and Custodians. Pushing things into the 4+ save region is a massive game changer. And the change to Inner Circle and Grim Resolve detachments gives them more utility and so much less situational.
I see a lot of people putting Blood Angles up. They are hard to play. I am a Blood angels player and I can win against some matchups without problems. But they are very fragile. Yesterday I played against CSM raiders and man… what a pain. The 10 warp talons coming down killing 10 jump Intercessors going back up then repeat. Couldn’t stop it. Vindicator kills every squad under 10 guys. Marines just die too quick.
Claudio tells us this every day! they are huge glass cannons. He's taking a 10 man assault terminators unit in his competitive list. Maybe he'll play it on the channel soon.
I agree with Anthony as a new sisters player. Sure im not very experienced but from comparing with my other army it does feel like sisters are QUITE pricey. Sure they are good and have a lot of options, which I think is what sisters should be, but some things need a slight point decrease. Namely the Exorcist, Celestian Sacresants, Penitent Engines by like 5 points and maybe Aestred. Then I think they would be in a fantastic spot; but i remain very open to be corrected.
I kinda agree with Anthony that DA might be slightly overstated. But, even still it is great to see them being discussed competitively outside of Ironstorm. Love this show concept, really unique in the 40k content! Almost feel like it should be a live stream with some audience chat!
Welcome to the first episode of Rapid Ingress let us know in the comments what you think of the show and any topics you want on it next! On a side note, Claudio mentioned that he is taking a Liby with a terminator squad for +1 wound on the unit, he meant a Chappy!
I dont know the other ratings if are right or not, but from a elves player, drukhari >>> Eldar in this season. For sure, and First win rates also confirm it
Yes they can, actions are performed in your shooting phase. The double move temporal surge happens at the start of the shooting phase. You can double move the unit then perform the action with them after that. Actions DO NOT say at the START of your shooting phase, which mean the player choses the order of those actions.
