It's interesting to hear them talk about Discovery going into the OMDP at Palmdale after her next mission. She indeed went into maintenance after STS-105, but it was determined that the work could be performed at KSC, especially after the loss of Columbia a little more than a year later. This was done for all three remaining orbiters after 107 was lost.
Correct. First time it was ever used. This one was eventually converted to the PMM (Permanent Multi-Purpose Module) and left aboard ISS during STS-133.
