@@DirkMcBlade IMO if the tram just had SFX and VFX so it was easier for folks to know they were moments away from flying into the pit below it'd get a lot less hate. I just love Tram because I love to trick out the bar.
@@Leif_Nobody Well the lack of warning contributes to the hate and also no competent designer would have a train going through the middle of a train station that requires you to walk across the track to get to the other side of the train platform (show me one subway that works like this). The tram ought to be on the north edge of the map or the south edge of the map. Instead it's the automatic map equivalent of a janny slicking the floors before you run across. It's why I love this game. And why I only vote for tram when kilo is winning and tram's the runner up. It's obviously a troll design by the map maker.
poor dirk you're so unrobust. Ok so heres some advice. 1 free hand 1 xeno baby. stay on disarm. Combat intent rework means be on harm and right click or just right click. lay weeds, you get healing and momvement speed. You were a drone. Make doors on the weeds. Cyborgs are weak to disarm it stuns them a long time. All classes of xenos can drop creep on the floor xenos take increased burn/laser damage (depends on server you're playing on but its pretty relevant)
Shoving a borg stuns them?? Or do you mean I have to shove them against a wall? And yeah my big three takeaways (which I cut from the video) were: 1. I underused drone building abilities 2. I underused ventcrawl 3. I should've stayed in the hive more later in the round (a number of captured people were escaping)
Yes! I realized after playing that I really underutilized drone abilities, I should've been planting creep everywhere and also acid spitting walls after the first two captures or so. Also, when I respawned, when there was already plenty of hunters, I should've stayed in the hive as a drone / praetorian or gone sentinel. A lot of hosts escaped and I would've added more value keeping them restrained rather than trying to hunt. It was my first full round as a xeno and I learned a lot about the metagame from it, so far I feel like the spawns you should go for depending on the timing of the match are drone -> hunter -> drone/sentinel.
@@DirkMcBlade Eh, timing is less important than what you're comfortable with playing. Hunter speed may be too much for some to control. Also, if you connect with your partner as the initial larva you can transfer plasma to the one who intends to go queen after it evolves to drone to have it grow faster. And then to have it plant eggs faster. As for captures, strip them fully and wall them off. They won't be able to break down resin wall with their fists.
@@DirkMcBlade when Bee Golden had faster player speed (about 1.5 of tg) hunters were pretty much useless. Almost impossible to kill but at the same time too clumsy to do anything of value.
@@Dethstorm TGMC has a large number of different guns and every gun is at least somewhat viable along with several different beno castes and 2 different game modes and different maps. Also helps that TGMC has far better staff on average. Edit: There's also Jaeger armor and combat droid race which instead of healing with chems you heal with cables and a welder.
Lmao this is great! My one question is, why is all the staff speaking Chinese? aka pinyin without any tone markers (pinyin is a system for romanizing Chinese)
It's not pinyin it's just what Xenos see because they don't understand "Galactic Common" (the only crewmember they can communicate with are curators and maybe borgs). Some of the words like "zou" and "dai" resemble some Mandarin words such as 走 and 帶 but there are no Mandarin words that sound like "Thi" or "tongathad".
select what antag you wanna be in the character creator and you'll have to wait untill random chance picks you either at roundstart, ghost role or midgame.
