Spacesuits for the Next Explorers (Full feature) 

Before anyone wonders: SpaceX / Boeing suits look sleaker because they're "only" flight pressure suits, not something you'd make a space walk with. Moon rocks are razor sharp because there is no atmosphere to blunt them down. The suit becomes an armor against all space hazards. Like a space knight armor.

This is really cool! What a time to be alive and witness this new age of space exploration!

Imagine when space suits look more Mass Effect: Andromeda or Lone Echo. That would be epic, maybe we will get there at some point. :)

Suits are cool but could use some RGB.

I know it was dangerous, but Apollo astronauts trying to get back up on the moon is always kind of funny, just because of how you have to move to do it.

The new suits look amazing. One thing can pretty much guarantee however is that the most efficient stride for covering lunar distances at a faster than walking pace will be a bipedal canter.

at 0.59 in the video ... how is the astronauts head TURNING like that????? It looks like animation ... space suit helmets do not rotate... they are full sealed to prevent leaks. Please explain???

As you can see in the video, putting on a suit is not a simple matter. Requires third party assistance. How did the Apollo participants put on and take off their suits? They had very little space and could not use assistants.

They don't get the suits ready, so... on the Moon in the end of 2024? Nope. PS: They should make the possible to get inside them alone without any second person! Imagine, something happen on a station and there is no one to help to get into the suit!

This style of space suit needs to be changed. The top section helmet should not be round it should be rectangle face front to incorporate tech like a monitor shape . section nd the top of it should be continuous front the front to the back with no cracks or joins over the head section to the back of the backpack. Then the angle of 45 down out on the back pack then arc back into the back of the south overall a better and safer shape.
