I really really, REALLY wonder which part of the Stelvio interior looks like "a Mazda CX-5". It's literally nothing like it. Also, you can get the Stelvio with a full leather interior, with the doors and dashboard covered in leather too, in higher trim levels.
The Giulia is based on the brand new Giorgio platform led by the guy who developed the 458 Italia's platform... it's a carbon driveshaft, lightest-in-its-class, independent-rear-suspention BEAST... plus with the ferrari engine in the QV it's basically the perfect sport's sedan, BMW's are no match anymore. FYI, this is coming from the mouth of a BMW seller... me... bye!
Agreed. I have a Maserati ghibli sq4 that I love. Thought about trading soon to either Lavante sq4 or stelvio qv... Went to check out the qv and... It seems a bit cheap inside.. I like how the Lavante doors feel heavy...
Love my Stelvio! 2.0 turbo with 3 drive modes. Quiet, tight, trim and finished levels above a domestic. Base with Sport package is affordable. $44k. Will put a smile on your face. A sports car with a SUV body.

I'm Italian and not triggered whatsoever. People who cry racism at the drop of a hat need to experience real racism to understand what it actually is. Since both spaghetti and ravioli are delicious, I take this as an author's way of conveying that the choice is good no matter what you choose. You SJW's are so lost.
how come only italian cars are referenced in gastronomic analogy? i find it borderline racist...you never hear japanese cars compared as sushi vs. sashimi or tempura vs. teriyaki.
I agree that a person could receive it that way. However part of the image and actual character of performance in Italian cars is that one can't help but notice that their designs come from the same outlook and tincture that Italy brings to so many areas of life. It's part of what Italian companies try to evoke when they bring their products to market. That being said I think that Lexus could market their new designs and compare them to luxury hotels in Japan, their architecture, dare I even say plumbing fixtures, and the experience of having sushi on a piece of modern Japanese china with a minimalist shape. That would be a distinctively different experience.

Interesting comparison and I see why you guys did this. Not everybody cross-shops the same class of vehicles. I've cross-shopped between a Toyota iA, 86, Hyundai Elantra Sport, Dodge Charger, Honda Accord and Civic hatch.
Alfa has usb ports in the back, just this version doesn't have it, and quadrifoglio will have leather on the dashboard or as an option you could have it on standart
I love Alfa still makes me feel I am driving an Italian machine. This Maserati it’s makes me like I was driving a Chrysler Pacifica love Italians cars!!!!

Apart from the fact that here more of the small Alfa 2 liters is compared with the fully equipped Maserati instead of using the adjacent Q4, the video is very meaningful as far as the leverage of the Maserati is concerned to justify its high price ;)
I tried to sway the towards getting a Stelvio, but couldn't sell her on the body style. I thought the styling of the Stelvio was stunning...until I started seeing so many almost identical Mazdas. Bummer.
The biggest thing I like about these cars is that they are mid engine not like nose heavy audis... When you see a long hood you know that the engine sits correctly... Behind the front axle.
About time i found one where they have a car that’s in the same league as the Alfa Romeo! Every one i see is a Benz being matches up with an Alfa Romeo which is dumb!

So comparing a levante to a fairly basic Stelvio? The QV has the v6 and sounds better. Plus there is a leather dash on the QV, Lusso, and any ti with that option checked.
I’m so confused about this review. You mentioned it was the Stelvio Q but you really only showed specs for the base Stelvio. You should really only be comparing the Stelvio Q with the Lavante.
Somebody isn't being honest! That exhaust from the Alfa was the 2.0 not the QV's V6 and you know it. The Alfa does have rear USB also you shot from an angle where you couldn't see them. I have to say I stopped watching your channel for a reason....this affirms that decision. The young one is the worst.
What cars are you actually comparing? You need to choose between the Levante S and the Stelvio Quad and not mix them up. Your conclusion isn't clear. All that said, I have a Levante S and it is a fantastic car. I wanted the Stelvio Quad but the Levante made better sense. The Stelvio Quad is quite the beast and the Levante S is more drivable in normal life. If I win the lotto, I'm getting the quad too. ;)
Each should encourage long-term ownership by offering a 6-8 year, 70-90k mi warranty to instill 'confidence' in the the product's robustness as it ages. Otherwise, these will be forgotten used car lot queens rotting away in the sun. They look great, but too many unknowns with limited dealer network support.
These are not apple to apple comparison just because both are Italian. Mind as well throw in Fiat too. These are two different crossovers built for two different market segment. Would have been better to compare Stelvio to its real competitors like BMW x3, Audi Q5 and so on.
You didnt really compare farely....for the price point of the levante you can add the leather package to the alf and make it much nicer. Also why didnt you compare the performance. Of qv with the sq! I think the cheaper alfa qv will still win

I think that this comparison. is not fair.. you show the Stelvio Quad.. but compare to levante on every section to the 2.0L... even the exhaust test... why not the Quad.. normal and then the race mode. Sorry TFL.. not your best video...
34K is a helluva premium to pay for a slightly more prestigious badge. Both are ridiculous cars, but if you have money to burn, I can kinda see the appeal of them, but even then there's no way the Maserati wins unless you literally give zero shits about $34,000, even on an abstract level where the money itself means nothing to your lifestyle. A loaded Grand Cherokee is better in every rational way, except prestige.
Makes me a little sad that three of my favourite marques, Alfa, Jaguar and Maserati, now make nonsense wagons. The vehicle of choice for the school bully or those bullied at school.
Hmmm...Bad comparison. Ypu compare a 4 cylinder with a V6 when Alfa has an V6. Wouldn't it be better to compare only compare the QV against the Maserati
I own a Stelvio. I drove both. No comparison. The Alfa costs WAY less and performs WAY better. You would be a fool to buy the Maserati. Or, you would have to be desperate to own a Maserati. But on value and performance, the Alfa crushes the Maserati. And the Stelvio Quadrifoglio is the fastest SUV in the world. And even that model competes on price with the Maserati....
I don't like SUVs, it's better to compare Maserati Ghibli and Alfa-Romeo Giulia (which share many components, e.g. V6 Ferrari engine, with different size)
This video is testimony why I go to Redline Review. This was a half @$$ comparsion and did not even choose the appropriate trim levels for the comparison.
Here it is in a sentence. Alfa Romeo make better looking cars than Maserati and sell them a lot cheaper. Maserati has that sexy name but is in truth down in the trenches pitching its SUVs and Saloons into the fray against the Big German "business" marques and the price points are too high. Maserati is neither one thing or the other. It is too expensive to compete with BMW and Audi not to mention Alfa
