You ever get the feeling that it's not the best people who go into politics?

As a Mexican citizen currently residing in Mexico, and otherwise supporter of AMLO, I find it ridiculous for him to request a forced apology from Spain. That happened half a millenia ago, and there's no one alive today from back then, so why would anyone have apologize? I will be moving to Spain soon, and believe that the fast track Spain offers to people like myself to become citizen after 2 years of living in Spain legally and behaving properly, is already a good enough gesture. If, however, the Spanish crown decides to return the stolen gold and precious stones to my country, then that would be nice though but I doubt that will ever happen!

I would swap my not so yuppy flat in central London (central London has a lot of council and housing association properties where people, not on high salaries have to live and still pay those ‘pint’ prices if they want to go out and enjoy an evening) for an apartment in Spain in a heartbeat! I didn’t vote to leave!! Spain is where my heart is. I was on the Costa del Sol this summer and into September, no beach showers for the whole of the summer and no water in the fountains but no issues in the hotels or residences. Is Vegemite the same as Marmite? That’s an acquired taste, Marmite.. you either love it or hate it. Guess it must be the same!
