Once base is filled with water or sand then it become cumbersome to move around and the bolts has to be removed for it fold, so it’s not worth it if you gonna be doing that a lot, it’s too much of a hassle.

I adjusted the height everyday and it still works like new. I do use battery drill to adjust. The height adjustment handle take a little of bit of time and I don’t have the patience for it 😂. Sometime after i only took a few shots then my kids came outside and wanted it lower so they can play then they took a few shots and done with it. Now I have to adjust to 10ft again, so using battery drill can be very helpful. So I complained about the front cover with some kind of degree, so it turn out that it’s helpful when I take a lot of free throws or shoot 3s from top of the key. It helps return the ball to me. It’s only annoying when I shoot the ball from the sides then I sometime have to chase the ball so it won’t run off to the street.

Try to get your hands as high as your could to grab the pole then use your foot to prop the base then you can tilt the base. Once the base is tilt it should be easy to move around. It seems heavy with that much water in the base but it’s not that heavy when the base tilt.

Make sure to tighten all the screws and nuts. The filled the base with water all the way to the top.

Wobbles mostly from top third. Backboard just moves a drop more than I think it should. Bolts tightened. Used sand for base.

@@sjf4626 maybe email the Spalding support to see if that normal. It shouldn’t wobbling that much because you got sand in the base so it should be more stable. So the bottom half is not the issue.

yes, it was just me, even though the instruction said I need two people, but I was able to get it down by myself in less than 1 hour.

I didn't see any hole that let me drain the water. but I have the hand pump that allow me to take out water easily.
