I really like how it looks like he is poorly green screened in but the fact that he interacts with the car shows that he actually has a green line around him.
I like how when Spamton starts getting angry his signature voice changing thing kicks in. Kinda adds a little more to his character, implying that’s he angry/losing it all of the time. Either that or in this time period he only activates when’s he’s angry, I might just be looking into too much.
The second option makes sense, since the effect kinda sounds like his voice is corrupted (aside from getting constantly interrupted by the brackets, of course) But at the same time, the first option makes sense too, given Spamton's story
I assumed it was something he suppressed when he was normal but like many websites if they aren’t updated readily and consistently they fall apart and you’ll often see portions of the no longer working html and bbcode
0:13 Hearing his laugh not sped up to oblivion is like hearing somebody laugh without wheezing, it feels so much more nautral, and you cant help but almost smile

Good god, this is so damn sad. You completely nailed the shaky, masked desperation in this, and really managed to sell the fact he seemed like he was going to crack at any second. Phenomenal work as always.
even before he lost it, spamton wasn't really all there in the first place and yeah, maybe its cause the "outside help" was already screwin with his brain, but then again, there are a bunch of weird characters in the dark worlds but i suppose spamton is a... DIFFERENT kind of weird but then again, he was still called spamton back then, so i suppose he was ALWAYS like this, probably cause HE'S LITERALLY BUILT TO BE A SHADY SALESMAN, that's ALSO probably why he's a bit unhinged idk tho, i'm just rambling
I love how you can still see the loose threads that would eventually be pulled to give us the Spamton we know today. He may be more put together here, but you can feel the madman just writhing beneath the surface, getting ready to come out.
Damn, this is a really cool fandub, really feels like he is the one who WAS unknown, and afraid to be unknown again , like in "About yourself" where he is nervous about the player not knowing who he is. Also he REALLY enjoys his dream as #1 rated salesman ("Mansion" and partially "About Yourself"). HIs take on "Friends" is also interesting, Spamton being sad and somewhat ashamed about Addisons leaving him, which, I guess, doesn't fit in his fantasy about being Big Shot. Also it seems that Addisons have spreaded some rumors about him being on phone all the time getting "Outside help". This is a really cool video, hope to see some more. P.S.: Really surprised that I wrote all of this, essentially breaking down video brick by brick.

Man, this is such a great short. So full of character and a great depiction of Spamton's personality, which is still easily recognizable despite normally being covered with corrupted data. Really wish you can continue doing this even after the Tumblr Sexy Man™ stops being relevant. You have such a great voice and a lot of talent and I'd hate to see it go ignored.

I love how he still has some of the weird speech patterns we originally saw him with, but not all. Like how he says "Crying outloud" instead of "out loud" or spelling "nada" with two Ds.
really love how you managed to capture his unhinged energy even during his pre corrupted stage the laugh and the sigh at the end were the cherry on top
It's nice to hear what Spamton would sound like if he didn't scream everything and have weird [word replacements] everywhere. The addition of (TM) to the things he said was a clever touch, props to the person who created this hypothecial scenario.
This interpretation of a "normal" Spamton is pretty interessting. Is Ego is so fragile, that he constandly gets angry and flustered. You basicly allready killed the conversation when he noticed that you have no idea who he is.
It feels so sad to think about how he was just a basic dude living his life And then boom, garbage noise in the phone and insanity come knocking on your door
Spamton here knows he will be on the edge somehow. He has no friends (as they abandoned him) and his Outside Help is the only way he rose to fame. As we know in the future, that Outside Help stopped, he lost his sales, got kicked out of the mansion, and left to rot in a dumpster. Pretty sad realities for both past and present (of when we meet him in his dumpster)...

The real treat for me is the fact that the animation was based on a comic that already used Big Shot Autos(TM) which while originating from a line in the actual game was certainly, er, popularized conceptually by this channel.
