This sounds like music for when Spamton was still popular and selling. It has way more frequent calls than normal Dialtone, relating to how he is still in business, and the grocery store concept fits Spamton, as he likely sold a large variety of products, similar to how grocery stores do (though, definitely on a [[BIGGER]] scale). You could also attribute the ending hang up as the moment the Knight stopped helping him, causing his business to go dark. All around a great piece.
You know im honestly surprised nobody found this comment, replied something about Gaster, and then sparked a flame war over whether Gaster or the Knight is involved or if Gaster *is* the Knight or whatever It's a pleasant surprise, but a surprise nonetheless

The gameshow contestants experience his… Distortions..? However, his act is cleaned up in post before it’s broadcasted to the television. The contestants are told to act natural, so while from a viewer’s perspective the contestants are just idiots who don’t understand easy questions, they just genuinely have no clue what he’s saying.
@@eyitsaperson i dunno man, it's just a dumb 3 month old comment, but i do think it has to do with Spamton i guess... Really missing the past or something
* You ask the CEO how he became such a BIG SHOT in the first place. “A-ah, uhm…! Well, it’s q-quite simple, really, uhm… Hang on, I’m getting a call…!” “…Yeah…? R-right!” “W-well, my dear fan! All is revealed in the BIG SHOT TRAINEE PROGRAMME™️, for a mere monthly price of 9999 [KROMER]!” “…” “E-erm, I mean, D$9999, of course, haha!” “…” “T-this is where I shall be getting off the elevator… Farewell!”
Thank you! I hope to make more covers in the future, however not everything lends itself well to the type of stuff i like to make. Dialtone just happened to hit all the right points. Here's to hoping i find more inspiration soon, and thanks for listening!

I love how the phone rings begin at first, then slowly get more and more frequent during the middle, and then goes completely silent until you hear the final call.
Hiya folks! As I don’t have access to a community tab yet I’ll ask here since it’s my most popular video. What do you folks wanna see next? Anything’s on the table, though I’m admittedly picky. Leave a suggestion below! If I like it, it may be the next song uploaded, who knows?
NOW’S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A or BIG SHOT in this style, I am a big Spamton fan so more of his songs would be splendid. (Maybe even KEYGEN, because the only person I know who’s made a KEYGEN remix is Lil Alien and I love it, but if you made one too that would be lovely)
The other suggestions put here are great, but I'm curious how you composed the track! Everything sounds pretty authentic to a late 70's Bossanova cover and I wanted to know what instruments or plugins were used. Otherwise, great job!
@@LucasTwocas Well I only use two things, the default instruments included within Logic Pro, and this cassette plugin that I’ve really come to love: www.wavesfactory.com/audio-plugins/cassette/ . The honest answer is I haven’t gotten the sound down to a science yet, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I have lots of little experiments and tunes that I would love to post, but I dunno if I really should since I feel like I’m cultivating an audience mainly based on covers. Anyway that’s what I use!
@@ValerieChiappetta Neat! I use FL Studio, and you should totally upload some original tracks. It wouldn't hurt to branch out of covers, and I think you'd reach a larger audience too. You can also make a SoundCloud and upload them there too as well!
honestly this is really impressive dude, from the cover art to the music itself it genuinely feels like ive been transported, the transition from the original bit-crushed version to this amazing shopping mall background music is really impressive, i hope you keep making junk like this, keep this shit up brotha!!@!!
"Life's great! Business is booming, I'm making all sorts of deal left, right and center, Hell, I've got my own personal suite at the Queen's Mansion! I haven't seen my old pals in a while, seems like they're ignoring me now. They must be jealous but who needs friends when I'm a Big Shot now?"
@@wypmangames Wow, how did you figure that one out, Holmes? There's a long pause at the end which ruins the loopng for me, which is why I asked for an extended version.
OOO I love this so much! I love how in the beginning there's so many calls and then towards the end you don't hear any until the fateful call at the very last second, love it !!
Cleanup, cleanup on aisle 7! Someone left their soul lying in the aisle! Kris, can you get that for me? Kris! Was that a big shot!? I'm so proud of you! You're doing just as well as me! 3x the sales! 2x the product variety! Best of all? New stores, everywhere! Kris! Look into my eyes! We're making it big!
So glad I stumbled across this cover! Dialtone works surprisingly well as a bossa nova. You captured the unhinged vibes and also made it fun and upbeat. Thank you for sharing!!
This sounds like something that played over the speakers at Big Shot Autos or something I like to imagine the ringing we hear in this song isn't actually part of the song itself, but rather the sounds of telephones at the reception desk ringing as the song plays
I can imagine Spamton sitting on his chair with a million phones happily answering calls, and constantly keeping tabs of how many calls he gets a day. Then one day he notices they slowly stop coming, and eventually goes insane because after a while all he hears from the phones is loud screeching. He's no longer a big shot.
nobody gunna talk about how the melody is basically world revolving still love it tho, its great! (wait i think world revolving is in regular dialtone but its hard to tell and its definitely a different part, still its a very nice touch) (update: dialtone is actually really close to circus, which is kinda cool)
