I completely agree with Alicante. I would definitely buy in Alicante. Close to airport, great beach, good transport, good shops, amazing market and cheap property
Valencia arguably the best quality of Life in the world with outstanding value for money, Murcia where I live, the big advantage over almeria is the low crime rate and much better airport (plus Alicante airport is just over an hour from the Murcia coast and only 40 minutes from Murcia city), with over 20 years experience in Spain I think this video is very accurate, (even benalMADena, accent on the A Giorgio) your analysis here spot on
Many thanks kipps. My personal favorite is Alicante is so much as soon as you arrive you are a bus ride from the beach and you have the facilities of a city and at under 2000 Euros per sqm on average. Agree on Murcia as well. For me a well deserved second place.
@@saveandinvestwithgiorgiolo8375 Isla plana where I have a house is absolutely stunning and finally being discovered by a wider clientele, azohia likewise (both near to mazarron but in Cartagena limits), real estate market hot here at the moment, for a lifestyle purchase and great value it's hard to beat, we get st least 10 months a year beach weather too, great job on this video,
@@saveandinvestwithgiorgiolo8375 what about the fish farms near Alicante? I assume that’s what’s near the coast as someone mentioned about chemical pollution. Not sure what they meant.
Definitely no. I used to live in galicia and visited asturias and various places up north. The weather isn't great too rainy and gloomy Lifestyle in the south is much better
As far as the coast is concerned it is difficult to add places in the North due to winter weather conditions, however there are many lovely towns/cities in the north and I actually did a video on the best five places to buy in Northern Spain.
Thank you Giorgio, I always find amazing value in your videos. May I ask what is in your opinion the best place in the world to invest in Real Estate ? Thank you, have a nice sunday
As a recent subscriber, I find invaluable information in your videos. I am looking to purchase in about three years, so I'm trying to do as much research as possible on different cities - those that I've been to, as well as new cities for me. I am attracted to Spain, so this video was extremely helpful in providing costs, local airport information, culture, and local lifestyles. Thanks, Giorgio!
Thanks, Giorgio! I agree with you that buying property as an investment in Spain is probably not the right thing. The rental taxes are huge for non-EU citizens. Also the initial transaction costs are very significant, where you can easily add +15% on top of the agreed price in transaction costs! I'm considering buying in Sofia, Bulgaria. However, the property prices seem to have increased a lot there to the point of a possible bubble. Would you still recommend buying in Sofia as an investment?
Thank you for your feedback. Since I made this video prices in Sofia and Bulgaria have gone up a lot. I still think in the long term Sofia will do well but it is no longer the bargain it once was.
@@saveandinvestwithgiorgiolo8375 In Sofia I see the same prices per square meter as in Alicante, and that's in the areas outside of the city center - around EUR 1700 per sqm. I was also told that the transaction costs are around 18%...Do you think it's still worth buying there as an investment?
I like the sound of Murcia, Benalmadena and Valencia. I was thinking of moving to Murcia, as it has alot to offer and Transport is good. Thanks for sharing.
Visit san pedro del pinatar area this year. I found the transport surprisingly poor. No trains to get from alicante airport to san pedro and the buses were few & far between. Had to get taxis. Same trying to get from san pedro to murica. No train, and for whatever reason couldn't get a bus, so again, another taxi. But the biggest surprise was there was no bus from murica city to the airport. This is what I was told by the receptionist in the hotel where I was staying, so another taxi. Another thing I noted in murica is that it wasn't particularly tourist friendly. I couldn't even get a 'cup of tea'. I even got a teabag in a glass of warm milk. Who in the hospitality sector doesn't know how to serve up a pot of tea, never mind a cup of tea.... Beautiful city though
Would need to visit all these areas then I could give more accurate view on preferences, great video on 3 lovely areas! What would be your top towns in Murcia and Almeria to visit and not ghost towns in winter.
I have been recently exploring another latino Market, the carribean Market. Because of its proximity to USA it might be interesting. Will you Cover it?
That was a nice overview of communities in the Costa Del sol and up the coast, some of which I still need to visit. You didn’t have any seaside communities on the north coast, which is getting more and more popular due to the heat. Have you thought about places like Bilbao, etc.?
I actually made a video on the best five places to buy in Northern Spain and Tarragona came first. Unfortunately most of the north seaside communities are still that bit too cold in the winter and most buyers of property in Spain do so to avoid the Northern European winters. Thanks for your feedback.
Many years ago I stayed in Mojacar I absolutely loved it. Have you made a video on rental properties in the areas you spoke of primarily Murcia, Alicante and almeria /surrounding areas?
i was thinking about sotogrande,as it is close to marbella, but cheaper,My interstig is good neighbors, safety and green surrounding ireas,OR u think valencia benlmadena ,and murcia are better(and for me is not important to be costde sel)whats ur advice please?!
Excellent, thanks - I'm moving to Granada to open up a small company HQ. Since my pastime I have a 15-meter sailboat, where is the best place to berth her and live/buy property close to the marina? John
Investing in Airbnb properties has been a lucrative venture for me. 🏡💰 It's like having your own mini-hotel empire that generates passive income month after month. By carefully selecting the right locations and providing top-notch hospitality, my Airbnb investments have consistently outperformed traditional real estate. 💼😊. I wasn't financially free until my 40s, and I'm still in my 40s. I've bought my second house, earn on a monthly basis through passive income, and achieved 3 out of 5 goals. Investing was the wise decision I made.
Glad I came across this comment section. I was struggling to decide what to do with a good amount of money in the bank doing nothing. I would be happy if you could advise me, as I am ready to go the passive income path.
okay Vic, so generally speaking, investing calls for more knowledge. For this reason, it's crucial to have a strong support system (financial advisor) to lead you through, particularly while choosing assets. I work with (REGINA LOUISE COLLARO) a registered wealth manager and investment advisor. For the record, it has been the best experience for my finances. You may have heard of her because of how well-known her services are. She helped me become financially solid through investment, and now I profit from her passive income strategies on a monthly basis. Therefore, I'll suggest that you choose a reliable investment advisor for yourself..
That’s great , your investment advisor must be really good,I have seen testimonies of people using the help of investment advisors in making them more financial stable. Do you mind sharing more info on this person?
Regina Louise Collaro is based in the United States and can work with anybody irrespective of where they stay. If you would like more information on reaching her, you can conduct a search online.
personally, I'm blessed and realizing I'm not the only one working with Regina Louise Collaro. I will consider myself lucky. I've been able to feed and make a living through her advice and great work. For such a person as Regina, I owe her gratitude, support and endless prayers as it is not easy to gain access to such a competent and reliable adviser. Who isn't just wise but has all it takes to handle an investment and is good at what she does.
Hello, you said you don't recomend buying realstate as an investment? What places do you consider better for real state as investment? Better ROI in other places? Thanks
So Valencia has good nightlife. How's the nightlife of Alicante? I guess I should visit these cities and find out for myself, but still asking. I'm currently not in the position to immediately go there.
For me the nightlife is better in Valencia although as a city to buy property it is more expensive than Alicante. Nightlife in Alicante is not too bad either.
Can you Airbnb your properties in Alicante and Velencia? And if so, do these cities attract tourists and/or business travellers all year round, like say, Madrid does?
Yes they still can but rental income tax for those who rent out is higher than for EU/EEA citizens and for most Brits they can only stay 90 in every 180 days
If you are a Brit that wants to be with the herd go to all these places, where i live you can rent a 2 bed flat for 250 a month, live in peace and integrate, if youw ant a small plot to live on l have 2 for 9500 and 7500, old houses to buy for 10,000 and spend 20 grand on them to make your own palace.
Hi, thanks for the video. In your video, you said you don’t recommend to buy property in Spain as investment? May I know why? If the price is so cheaper, isn’t it going to be a good investment and have rental yields? As Spain is very touristic country. Would like to know your opinion on that as I am planning to have investment apartment there. Thanks
Great video! I've been doing the last 10 summers in a few small pueblos outside of Barcelona. I'm testing out if I can live here. I don't want big city life, after years in NYC. I've been told Almeria is for me. Would you have any other videos where you had covered that city? I like your narration. Thank you in advance, Chris Vilsack
Many thanks for your kind feedback. I did a video on Almeria Province showing some properties. Please see link below ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--kBHjiobu1I.html
If you come to Spain, do pay a hotel yo stay in. By the greed of foreigners, Spain is becoming expensive place to live in. Do come, pay a hotel and come back to your country.
@@saveandinvestwithgiorgiolo8375 it was on a Royal Mail advert before the video. I believe in multi culturalism but virtual signalling and supposedly positive discrimination doesn’t work. In todays films adverts or any point of sale literature the ethnic minority have weirdly become the majority and disproportionately over represented in society, sometimes in detriment to the indigenous British. Cheers
