The whale breached and died 2 days later. It was weak and injured due to cuts on its dorsal fin, probably caused by the nets.

And now the whale is dead... excellent effort from these people who were unfortunately to late to make a difference. The removal of the illegal fishing net was.. too late? Can't help but feeling sad and impotent. Angry even... What are we doing to this planet?

I love to fish and when i see or hear about fishermen using illegal nets or not fallowing the laws and hurt our environment that just makes me mad. This is why when i fish and i see someone doing something illegal where i fish i confront them and exchange blows and make sure my local Fish and wildlife warden knows what’s going and see the people get busted it’s a good feeling.

THE INTERNATIONAL FISHING COMMUNITY SHOULD FORCE ALL THESE FISHING FLEETS TO NAME THEIR MASSIVE NETS WITH A CODE. ALSO WHEN THESE LARGE KILLER NETS GET LOOSE, THESE SHIPS MUST CALL THE NAVIES AND RETRIEVE THEM. Oh no! So her body was too stressed by the event, who knows how long it was going on 4. It sounds like she wouldn't have been able to eat and also her oxygen could have been compromised. How did you learn about the whale dying?
