I also disagree. Sometimes I make some quick fried eggs and sprinkle garlic powder and cayenne pepper over the yolks and have them over cheese toast. Delicious!
@@minigiant8998 Oh, don't tempt me! Wouldn't that be a lovely addition for a quick supper with unexpected guests? I am not sure I would do truffles in the morning, but sometimes you need to add a bit of heaven.
I love eggs and I love garlic. This recipe was surely created for people like me! I live in a rural area, and can get free-range organic eggs. This will make a great dinner this week.
I made this for breakfast today. As someone who loves both eggs and garlic, this is last meal good. Fried garlic and raw garlic compliment each other nicely. Sopped up the leftover garlic-infused oil with my bread and toasted it on the griddle.
I absolutely loved this. Soooooo garlicky. I also love the amount of "egg recipes" you have on your channel. Such an underrated ingredient. At least in my part of the world it is.
I love many of your recipes, but I wanted to comment today to say that out of the million ways you can cook eggs, this is absolutely my favorite in every detail.
OH. MY. GOD. This has got to be the simplest, most delicious, greatest dish ever created for people who love each of the simple ingredients. There are few enough ingredients that each ingredient is able to contribute noticeably to the dish without overpowering it or resulting in a "muddied" flavor. THANK YOU SO MUCH for this recipe!
Egg dishes are always the challenge for any aspiring cook & chef. I am so glad you introduced me to this beautiful Spanish dish. Of course a dish is beautiful to look at and delicious to eat once I have incorporated this classic into my repertoire. Todo el mundo debería creer en algo. Yo creo que debemos tomar otra copa.
everyone talks about cooking eggs gently, so the whites don't get tough. but I love crispy egg whites, and that's what this recipe needs, and this chef delivers! for that reason I'm not a fan of putting fried eggs on top of burgers - boring - unless you're gonna fry that egg nice and crispy...
Great recipe. And i want to say my words of appreciation of how you do your videos. Some cooking channels feel "tense", and "overproduced". Your videos are not so. I like the mood and atmosphere.
Sometimes a simpler dish where I learn new little things is satisfying for those phases where I don't have the time or motivation to cook more complicated dishes but still want it to be a little special. I'll be cooking this this evening.
Ohhh I will make this tomorrow, instead of parsley I add cilantro because that is what I have in my fridge. Thank you Albert to share this lovely restaurant dish with us, mmm 😋. 🤗🇳🇱
Those look great! Toast up that bread in the remaining garlic olive oil, Yes. It is so frustrating here in the States that eggs have at least tripled in price over the last couple of years (avian flu, supply chain, etc). Definitely need to get the "most bang for your buck" nowadays, like this recipe.
Eggs are also very expensive in Canada as a dozen large eggs will set you back at least $4.00 CAD. Don't forget that in Canada, dairy, poultry, and egg farming and production are heavily controlled through their Supply Management system, which dramatically drives up the price.
this is an EXCELLENT recipe!! it looks delicious and I am quite sure your husband also loved it! well done you, and keep up coming up with delicious recipes like this one!
Dude!!!!😮😮😮 that looks so freaking good. Simple ingredients, simple recipe! It just goes to show that it doesn’t need to be complicated to be an amazing meal.
¡ waoo, querido amigo! Otra receta más para acumular puntos con mi amada esposa!. Somos amantes de la buena cocina. Y tus recetas…¡ están entre las mejores! ¡ Felicidades!
I cook the recipes I learnt from you at least every week. now this will be added to my list too. Thanks for introducing me the delicious and healthy spanish cuisine.
Albert: Delicious! It's not yet 8:00AM here, and guess what's for breakfast! I❤EGGS, especially made with garlic goodness!🧄Thanks again. (Fan from San Francisco, California.) *!!~
I've never done this before, but when I saw this recipe, I had to have it RIGHT NOW. So, I went and made it, and yes: this is GOOD. I'll have to practice at it to get the garlic cooked just perfect (I see the bitterness aspect you were referring to), and the heat just right on my stove for it, but this recipe is a keeper. The only thing I want to do different next time is butter the bread I sop it up with because I'm used to butter flavor with garlic from eating butter/garlic bread with spaghetti. But, I definitely want this again.
A dash of water will stop the garlic from being overdone, then put the lid on the pan for 1 minute to stop the eggs from being too crackily on the bottom. Not to undermine the recipe, which is brilliant, I'll try it
@@GrikWorldNomad You know, I'd forgotten how (over 30 years ago) my mom used to put a slosh of water from the sink into a glass lid and turn it over onto her eggs right at the end of their cooking, and it would steam the top of the yolks (she didn't flip them). I didn't know it would affect the garlic too. Thank you for that information!
Garlic is VERY touchy about heat and can easily burn. I added the eggs first and then the garlic, which was sliced paper thin and both the eggs and garlic were done at the same time. Many recipes I've seen indicate that garlic should be sauteed no more than 30-60 seconds (depending on heat) to prevent it from burning (getting bitter). I suspect that the flipping of the garlic slices onto the egg whites in this video helps to remove them from too intense a heat.
After watching this I really fancied trying this for breakfast, I didn't have any olive oil or parsley but had eggs and lots of garlic, I used double the amount because I love garlic. They were delicious and I will now get some Olive oil and parsley and make this a regular meal at home. Thanks a lot
I tried this for breakfast made it for my husband and I, he LOVED IT! including me! Love the garlic overload and such an easy dish. I served mine with bread!
so I have tried this and every time I make this it just keeps getting better and better. So simple to make yet it is so delicious goes excellent with toasted bread
Wow……. I will definitely surprise my husband with this Garlic Eggs but instead of parsley I will be using cilantro….. he loves tortillas instead of bread. This has changed my way the way I will cook fried eggs FOREVER ! Thank you sooo very much !
Wow I’ve been eating garlic with eggs for years now. Usually a spinach egg omelette with the garlic sautéed in olive oil the same way. Delicious combo.
The way you explain sir ...❤❤ slowly woth each step makes it so easy to understand ... thank you for this wonderful recipe ...(i tried it simultaneously i watched video😅😅 yaaahh)
Good morning, another delicious and nourishing serving. We vary our diet all the time. If we had a big meal then the next evening we want something light and yet nutritional. Your recipes please in many ways. To enjoy a light meal this recipe is ideal. It is warm fresh and so tasty. Having some sour dough break is perfect. Not a lot of work yet very satisfying. Thank you for sharing. Go well.
We Spaniards are the country with the second highest life expectancy in the world, largely because of the Mediterranean diet and partly because of our way of living and enjoying life. Hopefully the North Americans will know how to adapt this way of seeing life in which the value This is the simplicity and the calm and passionate relationship at the same time, family, food and good humor
Excellent easy recipe. For those who don't have a mortar and pestle just take the garlic wrapped in foil and run over it with the car tyres, works every time, then go back to drinking your beer !!
I probably eat eggs too much because I just love making your recipes that include them, Albert. I often make omelets with garlic, so I'm sure I would like the flavors.
Try opening the baguette and stuffing in the fried eggs...you'll have the BEST, tastiest and juiciest roll in the world. Some mayo is also acceptable.😉😋
