Martha S - Yes, I agree. He just gets on with it straight away and keeps it minimal. Brief and enthusiastic and uses cheap easily obtained ingredients, nothing too fancy. I live in Andalucia an I'm learning Spanish cooking from this channel.

@@MargaritaMagdalena - No, they don't hurt anyone and they don't hurt me. They can do what they like. However this channel deals in quick, cheap tasty and easy recipes for beginners at Spanish cooking like myself. I don't really see what you're getting at. If you want fancy, complicated expensive food it isn't here.

We're big fans of chickpeas and this is one tasty looking dish. With a nice bread on the side (maybe with some olive oil) this could be a meal in itself! GREAT!

This has become my weekly dish. I love the simplicity of it. I have tried it with kale and I also sometimes add ground coriander with cumin and paprika and ginger with garlic and onions. Simple and delicious!
I love mister half an onion recipes, I cook them regularly here in Spain, authentic and always taste great.. It would be great to see him find a friend though so he'd get to use a whole onion.

If I may add: Before adding the checkpeas to the sauce, I roasted them slightly in a pan with just a little bit of oil, until they started to make popping noises kinda like popcorn, while continuously gently mixing them. That made them crunchier and soak up even more from the delicious tomato-spinach mixture liquid. Y, sí, de veras es increíble como un plato así simple puede tener un sabor tan riquísimo. 👌🤤

I tried this recipe and am totally into it now! I didn’t have tomato purée because it is not a common ingredient in Korea so, I put halved cherry tomatoes. And it was still good! Thank you for sharing :)
I made this tonight for dinner it was soooooo good I used crushed tomatoes and red onions, everything you put In your s i put a little honey in it. Cumin and pink Himalayan salt
