Reviewing the Sparco Gaming Hypergrip + gloves after almost a year of usage. I stream Assetto Corsa Competizione on Twitch! / b_fife22 #simracing #simracinggloves #sparcohypergrip
UPDATE AFTER 2 YEARS: I’ve finally had real wear on these, the stitching on the pull tab near the wrist has come apart on the right glove, but the gloves themselves are still completely usable, just the pull tab isn’t. Some of the grippy pieces on the underside of the fingers have come off, and the color of the material between the fingers has faded. I’m probably going to retire this pair soon and replace them with the same set.
I just got mine. I initially thought it was too small but after I got my hands in it felt fine. I like the touchscreen functionality. I got the green black ones. Nice review.
I just got mine and measured my hand as described in the PDF file, but it's very tight and if i knew that i would chose one size larger, because i take them on and off several times on gaming nights.
If they end up like mine, the elastic cuff will loosen quite a bit fairly quickly. They were very difficult to get on and off when I first got them and now they are easy
Good review, very helpful. Where did you find the Momo logo that you used to cover up the ferrari logo on the thrustmaster 599 wheel? I've been looking for a solution to cover up that logo and this looks perfect.
@@bfife22 have you used them on a leather wheel by now? I've got the Fanatec V2.5 and am currently looking foor a good pair of gloves to protect the leather and because of the torque ^^
@@bfife22 ah damn, I guess my search for a nice pair of gloves will continue. I’m trying to find ones that aren’t too expensive but are also alright quality it’s not bad to pay a bit extra for good quality but want to be certain as I hear good reviews but mixed feelings about the gloves as well. Been looking a lot at the sparco a lotones but just not certain. Either way thank you and thanks for all the awesome and informative vids!
@@bfife22 sorry, I’ve got one more question about the gloves. How’s shifting with them and pressing buttons? Are they nice and thin and you don’t really notice they’re on your hands? And how’s the heat when wearing them. Are they breathable? Thanks again! 😁
I like em because they lost the hook and loop on their mechanics glove. It never worked because my wrists weren't small enough. These feel good once they have been put on and off a few times. I got the blue ones.
I’d like to buy them too I currently own meca3. I have some difficulty choosing the size. For meca3 I have L, should I take L of these too? How did you choose them?
@@bfife22 Nope. I used Hypergrip 11, was a little bit larger. Tried Sparco Land and ended up with 9. So I tried Hypergrip+ 10. And I cannot get my hand in. I wouldn't fit in even without thumbs.
