There is so much to praise about this piece. All shot on a single focal length, with 2 pieces of light equipment. I could never have guessed so if I didn’t read the description. Your cinematic skills are real.

May have had an additional focal-length in there. I believe we primarily used a Canon L-Series 50mm but did have a L-Series 16mm for some of wide motel shots. May have snuck a 85mm in there too - can't remember at this point. But yeah, mostly 1 to 2 lights and a check reflector for the outdoor shots.

Really good movie! One thing that makes me "ouch" in it was only some wind sound when the car stoped! Its really nice to see someone skills in doing that things

Canon C100 ? pretty slik there ,cameraman ! great work ! ..love the old canons ! 8-bitt no second chances ! not so easy !

Yeah it’s my favorite camera. I’m more of a director now, but the C100 was there through a lot of my learning and understanding of the camera and production side of things. Still take it everywhere I go.

Love the work you're doing. Just a tip, when you're done editing, just export in 4K and upload that file. RU-vid favors 4K files and doesn't compress them as much. 1080p gets all mushy and I know the C100mkii deserves better than that!

The upscale doesn’t butcher quality prior to RU-vids compression? Hmm… I’ll have to try that. I’d also love to hear your preferred export settings!! Thanks for the support.

Since this upload is so fresh, would love to see you export in 4K and upload that version. I simply edit on a 1080p timeline and then when I export I choose to export a 4K file...that's all I do. Upscales it in the export and when I upload it to RU-vid, as I stated, RU-vid favors 4K content and it's less compression. Looks really good. Not to mention it being a 4K sensor downsampling to 1080p. So essentially you're putting it back to 4K.

Nah. I usually bounce back between 16-35mm, 50mm, 85mm Canon L-Series

I have canon eos R and RP and I am contemplating getting this c100 mark II in place of the RP. Please does the autofocus of this c100 mark II work with canon lenses on would I have to manual focusing. I have the canon 16-35 2.4, 50mm and Sigma 85mm art. I love the c100 mark II, don't just know how it holds up today.

auto focus is pretty good. don't believe it has a facial recognition system (if it does I never use it) but if you keep your subject centered it tracks fairly well.
