Spargi and Budelli islands - La Maddalena archipelago (Sardinia - Italy)

Piu' che consigliarti DOVE andare (bello dappertutto) , il consiglio che ti do è QUANDO andare : se ne hai la possibilità cerca di evitare l'alta stagione (luglio-agosto e anche la prima decade di settembre). Anche i posti piu' belli perdono molto del loro fascino se sono molto affollati, oltre a essere tutto piu' costoso. Inoltre alcune delle spiagge/cale piu' belle stanno diventando a numero chiuso causa affollamento, e in alta stagione questa cosa è piu' problematica. Tra le zone che abbiamo visitato finora, i posti che piu' ci sono piaciuti sono l'arcipelago della Maddalena (Spargi la nostra isola preferita) e la zona a sud di Olbia (tra San Teodoro e Siniscola, con spiagge La Cinta, Cala Brandinchi, Berchida, Biddarosa e l'isola di Tavolara ad esempio). Le famose cale del golfo di Orosei sono belle ma davvero troppo affollate (e difficili da visitare se non con gite in barca). La costa smeralda ovviamente ha pure cale molto belle ma tendenzialmente piu' piccole e affollate. Non abbiamo ancora visitato la Gallura, la costa ovest della sardegna e la zona di Villasimius.

Keep in mind that in 2021 we were visiting the Emerald Coast, so we started this escursion with them from the port of Palau (mainland Sardinia). The following year we spend our entire vacation in La Maddalena and we visited Spargi again : we found a "taxi boat" service in La Maddalena that took us to Spargi early in the morning and let us (by ourself) for the whole day; we were able to visit the different "cale" (beaches) by swimming form one beach the the next etc , spending how much time we wanted in each beach... we really loved that !
