I've been a Sparks fan since first seeing them play live in Germany in the 90's. Saw them here in Birmingham in 2017 (amazing!) and feel so lucky to get tickets for their upcoming tour this year (Wolverhampton in June). Came across this song after watching their live show from Glasgow March 2017 on RU-vid and I can't get it out of my head - absolutely love it! I hadn't heard of the film Annette but am looking forward to watching it. The Mael brothers won an award at the 47th Cesar Awards in Paris in Feb 2022 for best original score for the film. Huge talent and clearly still going strong in their 70's - thank you gentlemen!
Excellent!!! It's great that they don't mind finds taking pictures/videos and even greater when (1) upfront fans take some grat videos and (2) when almost all the fans put their phones down and are just enjoying the Sparkstacular! I was smack centre back row of mezzanine in Toronto 2022-04-02 and was in absolute awe of their presence, power, and passion. Thanks for this!
And I am glad if I manage to get my damn body out of bed in the morning😩! But, he has worked for that!😅👍👏💖💖💖💖💖 (I have worked hard too, but from my body's perspective, in the wrong ways. I have my punishment now.)
I’ve seen the biggest bands of the 80,90,20 just went back a little further this year at the roundhouse in London, felt compelled to buy over inflated tickets from an internet resale , boy so glad I did!!! Without a doubt the ,, very best band I’ve seen or ever likely to see!!!
So very cool. I saw them in Seattle ----- and that was really great, but somehow, brittyn, you captured this gem from the Portland performance. -- Great audio and video. Thank you so much, from a life-long Sparks fan.
He started to do that DECADES ago, one of the humorous trademarks of Sparks! As well as the "dance" he perfoms every concert. Can you believe these guys are 73 and 76* ?!😮😵💫 Russell was born October 5, 1948 and Ron August 12, 1945. *Corrected from "75".
@@brittyn Hahaha! My mistake 😳! I blame too long since school. But the birthdays, and years, are correct. Anyway, when thinking of how much they have traveled America - Europe - America the last year, how active (some "overactive", still, it seems 😂💖) they are, any number over 65 is an assault, truth or not.
