Some reviewer on the internet when you put in the song's name said this is better forgotten, the twat, he knows nothing. This should be out on release to get.
Steve Lennon Dude, 'A Violent Death' (by FFS - Sparks w/ Frans Ferdinand) is an amazing song. Truly dark & disturbing...but with a masterfully textured refrain so melancholic and beautifully harmonizedl, it sounds like a chorus of angels is singing it. Is that song supposed to be about a train wreck or something?
@@sparksfan, I believe so. It seems like they took the opportunity to stretch even further outside the comfort zone in that collaboration. As Sparks they rarely go so deep, they rather point out disturbing things than dive into them. And when they are in that deep mood, there's always something to ease up, like that wonderful line in 'Good Morning', "I hope it's just her laugh that is infectious". In 'Save me from myself' is the line "Who tonight's undoing her brassiere", but I think I "smell" FF there, anyway what do I know? 'So many bridges' raises questions about serious things, in a clever way bringing up absurdity an evolved 'Here in heaven'. Me prattling. 😉 💕
