One of my great joys is hearing from fantastic guests with diverse perspectives. Penny Brown, a retired Senior Lecturer of Comparative Literature at the University of Manchester, brings a literary perspective to Sparks' music. We discussed Shakespeare, classic literary storytelling, and other related topics in relationship to Sparks' wonderful music.
