On this video I show you how to replace the battery pack and rework the full electronic system to avoid to buy the official battery pack from the original brand. The full cost of the rework is around 200€, against the 500€ of the origial battery pack duplicating the range with our rework.

Sir, what a Great step - by - step tutorial! Thank you so much! May i have just two questions:is there any possibility to use li-ion battery pack with an old controller pbc (inside the wheel) and original monitor? Wha didn't you build 36v battery (the motor seems good enough for that)?

Thank you for good video...question-how you manage a speed sensor? Is it must be separate sensor, or board computer calculates speed by rpm on hall sensors?

Hi. Great video. What changes did you do to hub motor. My motor have two electronic boards inside. By look it looks that whole controler is inside the hub itself.

Very nice video! I have a Batavus Viento easy pedelec bicycle, with similar in-frame battery like yours , which is dead. Do you think it is possible to fix that as well?

You can even do it for under € 100,- if you use the original NiMh batteries. Often these are OK and only the circuitboard is faulty. Just take the + 24 volt from the fuseholder to circumvent the electronics.

@@mathw2703 original bms needs programming by a dealer. these bikes suck for diy u cant do anything without extensive modding or compeltely rebuilding everything.

Hi David, did you found out how to solve the error E007? I have the same error on my bike but I'm not using the throttle, so my motor doesn't work. I'm only using a PAS sensor. Any help is welcome. I checked the hall sensors and they are working, also when I connect the green settings cables the wheel spins. Any suggestions?

Hi Ruben, Sorry for the late reply, too much work now. Sorry but finnaly this motor controller never works as expected and I returned to the supplier and I order another model.

@@Davideljeringa I have the same problem. I put everything together and I have an error E07: / hall I did not connect only the 3 phases of the engine. It's strange how I hold it - the bike goes for a few seconds, but only 6 km / h

Hi and thanks for your coment. The controller has been installed in the same space that the battery, so the order is battery, then controller and the last the whole wiring and connections. Cheers. DJ

Can this motor take 75v 50A or 60A? I am willing to get this motor to test how much power it can take just for fun. They are super cheap here in Poland.

It should be able to take at least 55 volts. That has been done. But you have to realise that the only way to determine the maximum wattage is to raise the voltage untill smoke comes out :-)

@@mbcrecords2356 kinda the same of rest of Europe but the service of a battery builder is cheaper. You buy the cells and give to the guy who build custom battery. I only use Lipos so I don't have to deal with that

The cells in the original battery are glued, you cannot replace them.

Hi Bassel, first of all I never used the oginial battery for anything, the cells are OK but the electronic sucks, so if you want to reuse the cells is not needed to remove from the case. I never was able to remove from the case, the epoxy they use in factory is too strong to be removed. PLEASE TAKE A LOT OF CARE WOTH THIS ACTIVITY, I SHORTED OUT ONE CELL TRYING TO REMOVE IT FROM THE ORIGINAL CASE AND ONE PACK GET ON FIRE FULL OF CELLS, VERY VERY DANGEROUS, DON´T DO IT. WITH ONE STUPID, ME, IS ENOUGH. Thanks. DJ.

I can’t be more satisface, I use the bicicle every day. The max speed pedaling and helping the system is around 40km/h. I changed nothing at all after this time.

I would recommend Daly. They cost a few bucks more but are highly superior to the real cheap ones.

I am using the original charger, you must check the max input voltage of the bms, for your info the sparta original charger supply 34vdc

hi mein Vater hat im Heimat 2 stuck davon ich auch mit dem gute Akkus aber von andere fahhhrad,yellen wurde ich behalten nur die bms wurde ich ausbauen und neue einbauen, kannst du mir sagen welche bis ich nehmen soll für originale ladergerat bye Akku mit 9000mh und 11000mh 24v.
