I’m ordering one next month, $133.00 on eBay. The profile on this knife kind of reminds me of the old Buck Nighthawk 655. It’s the straight swedge clip point, and shorter blade with a slightly thicker stock to it. The 655 was always my favorite Buck knife. Good video, brother. God bless.✝️👍🏻
As a Marine Corps Veteran, I Love the Ka-Bar but, due to the narrow tang it has a tendency to break at the handle under heavy batoning. I've always wanted someone to make a Ka-Bar with a full tang & modern hand grips & this seems to be the blade I've always wanted. This will be the next knife I buy for sure.
I know what you mean. I talked to two different guys who make knives, and they wanted 300 to make a full tang ka bar. This is a dam good knife. I highly recommend it. I made a leather sheath and wood sides for it.
@@philwilliams3657 a lot of the little videos that you do on Instagram would translate right over to RU-vid shorts. At least there they’d be monetized.
4:04... Every fighting knife that has a choil, it should be NO SNAG ! I have modified nearly all my "outdoors" blades to be much like this one, in that respect. Looks like a great little tag-along.
First 🙌🏻 how dare you do that to a knife! Don’t you know that’s what axes are for? Lol. I looked at the Kukri they made. Almost bought it. Maybe still will
Haha needs to do an axe video lol. I thought of getting the kukri too. It looks really cool. This one is cool and I do suggest it. I’ve always been mixed opinions on Kukris. Generally I think I like just a large drop point or Bowie even for a chopper. Thanks for watching buddy.
The edge stability of this Carbon V steel, is equal to some CPM 3V or ballbearing steel custom knives. Especialy if you sharpen the knife 2-3 times and put a slight convex edge geometry, this thing can cut through metal, without taking any edge damage. Not many knives can do that. And yes, this is not a 1095 steel or anything similar, Ka-Bar uses Carbon V these days called 50100b steel. It's a tougher and overall better than common 1095. This knife lacks nothing. handle sheath, blade, all are fine,a great user and a better option than the Classic Ka-Bar.
They are just cheap Walmart gloves. Canvas top. Leather bottom. I like them overall because they are pretty nimble. The leather is a tad bit smoother than I’d like.
