What's this song they playing? I can tell they really good.. I played on the band from 6-12th grade we were constantly taught about cleanliness... This band got it!!!
HBCU bands dont normally play the percussion end of musical arrangements......... please pay close attention to the snare drums. The additional strokes on the first song played are MONUMENTAL to the song. This is why I am a new fan of this band
I must say that as an alumni HBCU marching band member (Fort Valley State University, Blue Machine Marching Band) I am so impressed with this band! I will always be a Wildcat but a big fan of NSU's band! Their marching style is spectacular! The drumlines cadences sound like thunder, even, crisp staccato playing. This marching band is awesome! Do your thing y'all!
Enjoy watching how each band is layered for optimum performance. Highly impressed with this band due to the complexity of just marching parade style. I have played have marched many years and judged competitions. The unity of this band as well as the well planned parade marching is the top 5 bands I have ever seen. Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your hard work and dedication to excel the marching band experience.
Awesome performance. I liked that there were very few individuals walking in front of the camera. The bands music select and performance was outstanding. I also noticed that there wasn't a lot of helmets being picked up off the ground. Really great band to watch. I really enjoyed this post

Great band performance. Proud of each member with their commitment and discipline to put in the effort which made this performance great. Also, even the non-band members were on step. Excellent sound recording.
The section leader on snare is irritating me.. you gotta step out of line everytime just to be seen..everybody know wat to do at this point. Done played the cadences a thousand times!!
Where is University this At ? I'm SWAC Cold Blooded Percussion Section You can tell they Practice.During band camp The band Would leave at12 am We practice to 3 am and toe the line at 6 am MVSU Que Psi Phi
They had to do a Spartan move [the 300] with that crowd. What's up with these American cities with all the metal fencing and stadiums [America the beautiful]? @@troystrong8041 To explain, the environment looked so hostile, that they had to come in like the 300 in the movie 300. Looked tough though. I liked the hard edge to it but feel compassion for those trying to survive and perform in such an environment. Hope that explains better.
@@troystrong8041 Troy to add further for clarification just watch the video at these times: at time 8:43 the woman screams in a shrill voice "Uh Oh!" then the same at 8:47 [woman to left facing in green hooded jacket by girl in red jacket that is unhooded], must watch carefully, girl in green steps forward like she's friends with the band, "Play it Diesel", then starts hysterically hurling insults at them and her voice can still be heard hollering as they march away. At the time of 15:37 to 15:44 as the Band and Guard storms by, women's [and other crowd in coded speech] voices to the left somewhere hurl insults after pretending they like the March. At 18:08 a Guard can be heard saying to the crowd "Move back, Move back". This kind of behavior [especially from the women] can be heard and seen throughout many of these marches when I can only estimate that they think the environment is totally theirs and everyone must go through them to enter??? [Not even going to start on this camera thing done out of a type of hysteria-not speaking of the legitimate people who take pictures or film].
