So true, I am in Africa currently and I show this to them they are so proud and say our brothers in America have lost nothing but can teach Africa something.
I have sat and watched this tradition for SO many years!!!!!!! And it is mind blowing that the tradition of this tunnel still remains as if I were watching it over 30 years ago.

Facts I agree with you! This band is so dedicated that even though the numbers aren’t like an Ohio st or Michigan band, they still bring a spirit that is spectacular. Best band in the country in my view. Quality off the charts.
The drum-majors should sew some lead shot , or coins into the lower hems of their capes, and jackets. That way they'll hang nice when you doing the fast routines, and not get tousled up. When they turn the corner the major on the right has his cape turned over because it does not hang well.
One thing i don't like about Norfolk state, you got a lot of girls from Hampton roads go to school there. The girls that go there from out of town, are down to earth most of them, but the ones from Hampton roads are the suck up ones.
I wish they would stop loud mouth family members from yelling out!So rude and distracting,And people standing in the way so annoying!So disgusting and I’m sure distracts the performers.
Hey. Try to understand that when parents and friends see their sons & daughters/ friends performing in the band that's a very proud moment for them while taking in all of the hard work and tuition kosts it takes to put their student-musician through school and a successful band program. And the student-musician loves hearing their name being kalled out.
As a professional Drum Major of the Scottish school of Regimental Drum Majoring I am quite happy to NOT be associated with this in anyway. The DMs resemble more a minstrel show than anything remotely close to Drum Majoring. Please keep this minstrel show on this side; don't think of showing up at Braemar, Wembley, or even Loon. Might be good for a French Quarter funeral, but that's about it.
