That was great technique and definitely the way to do it...only problem with my race was we had a mud pit right before that where we were over waist deep in water and mud. even with Spartan trail shoes on and me being able to complete obstacles usually pretty easily, the amount of water and mud on us made every single one of those rungs extremely slippery from my own wet mud self, my dripping clothes and shoes, plus everybody before me.... it was probably the most dangerous obstacle I've ever done in any of my races because I felt that I had no choice but to slip and fall. I did wind up limbo-ing myself through the top and second to top pole to get to the other side but it was treacherous as heck and extremely scary!
I haven't done this obstacle at a race, however I completed Spartan Obstacle Specialist and killed this obstacle. Def only of my favs. Thanks for the tips!
