Peace lilies have been my favorite for a long time, even though Hoya are now fighting for that position. Great video as usual.

Oooo I didn't know this has a variegated leaf one. That's just beautiful. My mom brought home a peace lily some years ago that a lady gave her. It was really old, and hadn't been tended in a while so I began taking small clumps off (some real tiny), planting them in pots, putting them around the house, and now I have 4 of them? More I can do, and plan to, just haven't had the time. I like that they pretty well tend themselves just so I don't have to constantly worry over them. Found you recently when you were discussing the Bella hoya plant. I love the plants (even outside) that allow me to take one plant and just keep on propagating to get more. So, I now have peace lily, hoya, pothos, and jade plants all over. lol

I had a peace lily that kept wilting so I repotted it. I discovered it had so many roots, in fact too many for the size of the plant. I trimmed the roots quite a bit, expecting that it would take time to recover. I was so surprised! It was perfectly happy and didn’t suffer at all. And it stopped wilting!

i'd love to see an update on these in a few months, to see if they're more variegated again

The peace lily is the only plant that stuck with me from the beginning of the journey because it can tolerate overwatering pretty well. I was (am) a chronic overwaterer and this plant (in my experience) is unkillable with overwatering, otherwise it would be dead by now 😅

Variegated peace lilies like that are so expensive in the US. The domino with the speckled, warty looking leaves aren’t expensive. But I find them very weird looking because of the leaf texture. You can’t even find the ‘Picasso’ or any other with sectoral variegation in my area & barely even online. I know they’re really common in your area. I’ve been looking for one for a couple years now. With all the importing people do, I’m surprised there still aren’t really any available here
