He said the salmon had to swim hundreds of miles from the Pacific Ocean to get to the hatchery. On google maps you measure the distance between the hatchery and the Pacific Ocean past San Francisco Bay it’s only88 miles. Not even 100 much less 100s, what the heck!
Chinook salmon once in the ocean they go out in some cases all the way to Alaska and come back! So yes! They go for hundreds of miles! And in case of the Chinook born in the Sawtooth mountains in Idaho is even greater!!😎🤓
