11:36 No! Using Amplitude was the first time I even heard of this stuff. It forced me to start paying attention to mics, speakers, and other things.

A green back is a famous speaker that a lot of people have historically use in their cabinets for having great drive and definition when using high gain specially. I grew up hearing that term alongside guitar players lol the “green backs” oh I got green backs in it 🤣🤣

Thank you very much for the video. There are not many creators who make videos about this software I wanted to ask you a question, I have a problem with the software that I have a lot of white noise even after a noise gate, the problem is not with INPUT, I checked it, it's something specific with this software, do you have any idea what to do in such a case?

That’s not normal at all. Is the problem when you’re using the plugin in standalone mode? Sometimes AT chooses the wrong input and you have to change it again ie. Gtr is in in1 and AT chooses 2. The fact is that you should NOT have any white noise. I would try running the install again. And see if that helps. I know the software shouldn’t make any white noise. I have it installed in 3 different computers and it works perfect in all three and on of my computers is a 2014 laptop lol I’m sure you can figure it out with some troubleshooting. And remember, most audio issues are hiding in plain sight! 🙏🏼 thank you for your nice comment my friend, I hope this helps!!

There are a few people still say all the different speakers, mics, and cabs doesn't change the tone. When I stop using regular pc speakers and switched to studio monitors it all started to make a difference. Of course, not having a terrible gain structure makes all the difference too.

I agree with you. That’s what make the whole computer music so complicated. Every piece between you and the music matters. Sometimes I don’t hear the differences in my laptop speakers. Thanks for your insightful comment.

all my amp sims sounds reaaaaaly boxy do you know why? Is this normal? It sounds like cardboard box

Very hard to tell my friend, if EVERYTHING sounds boxy. It’s not normal to have the same problem with ALL ampsims. I had that issue recording guitars for an album not too long ago. It was the guitar players guitar, it was a vintage Epi that had a mid boost always active, so I had to slap an EQ on the DI before the rig dropping like 20db at around 600hz. But something tells me, this is not your issue…. But, just in case you’re being honest and not just trolling, maybe try that.
