10 k for the rich boomer dentist, without knowing that Jeff beck is associated with Strats. Gibson aiming the wealthy boomers, after this strategy who will be left in 25 years? There is littelary not ONE band in the Spotify top 100 artist that Gen z is following playing any Gibson! Not even an SG! May be I’m wrong, but I don’t know One artist! Gibson will be the brand for investors, collectors instead for musicians. If no musician will play Gibson guitars in the next 25 years the brand will be just an antique collectors dust piece of expensive wood collection. Bullshit company for actual working musicians! I’ll never liked Gibson guitars, I’m biased:) my money goes to PRS, Fender, Ibanez…I’ve never been in the Gibson camp, you Pay only for their name, their quality sucks! great work buddy!
@@Itsjorgelanzas I think they sound amazing! Love that you made a comparison. I might be in the market for the Ultra Vintage Noiseless, so hearing them compared to the older vintage noiseless and regular pickups was a great way to inform my decision.
Wow that 6100 Lead sounds awesome. It has that Marshall grit 🙂. Great tones thank you for the review 🙌. I just don't understand why there's no way to use amplitube pedal chain with this amps 😢
RICK!!!!!! WOW!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 thank you so much for your support my friend!! 😱😱 I really appreciate it! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 honestly all the Marshall captures were amazing!! And I think I couldn’t use it in amplitube because I was running the free trial. Usually they only show once you own the collection. I think, that’s what happened to me before I got tonex, as soon as I got the license in, I was able to pull them up on amplitube, in my opinion 🤣 the right way to use tonex models is inside amplitube, the tonex app is too limited, I guess that should be how we capture and then straight into AT! 🤣 anyway, I hope you have a wonderful weekend my friend!
🙌 @@Itsjorgelanzas you mean, if I buy the colletcion I can have the amps in Amplitube? I don't understand how it works because I don't have tonex yet but if the amps are added to the amplitube I can think about it 🙂
That is EXACTLY what I mean. I show you how to do it in this video. Check it out! DON'T USE TONEX! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z21kRyURhOY.html
Well I tried, but the video started and then just faded to black for some reason. Sorry, bad pun. I do know it's Metallica, but don't axe me any more than that! 😉 Nice playing brother. 🤘
@@Itsjorgelanzas same to you. Maybe I'll catch you online this weekend. I'll be jamming myself tomorrow at some point, and we'll be doing our usual Sunday jam in the afternoon. Going to finally address your preset sound, some good modal ideas, and Ed just bought a new acoustic/electric and with the help of a forum, we configured a sound on amplitube that comes pretty darn close to simulating an acoustic amp, or mini PA if you will. Jump in anytime my friend. 🎸🤘
I appreciate your kind words and your support my friend!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 help me out with your ninja skills and share it with your friends!! Maybe I can get a couple more subs!! Thanks again friend!!
That's awesome that they're finally letting people demo without the noise. As a customer I do like that IK Multimedia is evolving, improving, and patching their software and continuously working creating new products. They've made a lot of good Quality of Life updates over my time with them. So it seems they have a future worth investing in for the time being. Excellent demo! These amp captures do sound great!
Can you imagine???! I thought it was a Christmas miracle!! 🤣🤣🤣 some captures are really amazing!! I hope there’s an AT6 with all these but in model 🤣 anyway, Thank you for your nice comment my friend!! Have a great weekend!
I have to be honest, they really don’t sound good. Maybe they could be auxiliary sounds to help fill-in the EQ spectrum on a recording, but most of these wouldn’t really be usable on a gig and such. Just go with amalgam and be done with it.
I saw one at my local guitar shop and, BOOM ! , it sure caught my attention. It was the metallic orange one with the dark rosewood fret board. A very handsome looking guitar.
Man, I can’t stop thinking about it 🤣🤣🤣 I caught myself wondering how would it look in my guitar rack, like, where would It go, next to which guitar and so on 🤣 a man can dream. Do they look similar in person? Better, worse?? 🤘🏻😝 thanks for your comment my friend!!!!
Hey terrific video! Having installed new Seymour Duncans in my 24 CU SE and doing it all in the cavity like you did is such a pain. I recommend getting piece of hard card board and cutting it to the shape of electronics cavity. Then remove the knobs and pots ring to pull the pots out of the guitar. Then I place the pots into the cardboard template and do all the soldering outside of the guitar. It has helped me to keep from accidental soldering burns on my sausage fingers and burning other wires that are close in proximity. Oh and using heat sinks like alligator clamps ($1/each) will help to avoid any over heating/frying of electronics. A few thoughts to add to your already amazing video! Thanks again for making quality content!
Thank you for adding so much value to this video with your comment my friend!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I wish I would’ve thought about it 🤣🤣🤣 It’s the hardest part 🤣🤣🤣 I almost panicked when I smelled the little burnt plastic smell, luckily I moved just at the right time and the damage was negligible 🤣🤣🤣 anyway, have a fantastic weekend my friend!! I hope you’re enjoying your guitar as much as I’m enjoying mine! 🤘🏻
Wow!!! 😱🥹THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 you support means the world to me!! Thank you for going above and beyond!! I really appreciate you helping me to keep doing this!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 have a wonderful weekend my friend!
What a amazing captures!! The best category for Satriani Tonex Collection is "Shut up and play it now!". My favorite was Marshalls, Fenders and Colossal. Thanks my friend for this video. Greetings. :8)
I agree with you man!! They’re all great, but some were simply MAGIC! Definitely a little Marshall piece of heaven lol but I feel like the Jazz Chorus was better than the ones I’ve tried and that mini colossus, what a revelation 🤣🤣🤣 thanks for your comment my friend!! I appreciate you!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
i had the skins update on Tonex yesterday and wondered what it was then last night I saw they had released this just before i was going to bed. Ended up going to bed an hour later than i was hoping to after visiting the IK website and watching the videos on there and going through the demo clips etc. The price is holding me back so i'll probably go to amplitube and run through the Satriani collection on there again. (i got ampltitube 5 max) then go and buy the Tonex collection.
I totally hear you on the price. Let’s see what happens during sale season, I wonder if they’re going to have any sales on tonex collections. 🤔 let’s hope so!!! 🤣🤣 but definitely, quality sounds in this collection. And, did you noticed that there was no noise during the 30 minutes?? I wonder what happened.
My friend!! These are soo good!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 I’m sad I couldn’t open the demo on AT5, I really feel the amps have so much magic!! My favorite models in tonex right now! Thanks for your comment my friend!! 🙌🏻
Hello. Very good video. Very informative. Could I ask you which pedal in Amplitube, both on PC and iPhone, is used to change the tuning of the guitar? maybe to lower 1/2 tone or more. Thank you. I have subscribed!
In amplitube your options for drop tuning are pretty limited, I know there’s a pitch shift stomp box in the pedal section under pitch shift, but I haven’t used it tbh so idk how good it is! But, you can try it! I hope this helps friend, thanks for your nice comment! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I know!! That’s my favorite part!!! 😝😝😝 Floyd’s are so fun!! My last experience with one was terrible, last floating bridge I liked was the Ibanez, edge pro?? But that was long ago
@@Itsjorgelanzas Yeah, I just traded my last FR guitar for a Gretsch with a Bigsby. They're fun, but just too much effort on the upkeep for me. IMHO, the Fender Strat style (PRS, etc, in that category) is the all around best *unless* you're specifically covering Vai or Herman Li.
Well the first commenter was right, so now I will just 'Vai' for second place. Get it?! 😎 Oh and nice job there, J. Pretty cool sound out of that thing too.🤘
I just bought the standard 24 fret satin. I love the maple tops but I really need something that can afford to take a ding or two. My first 24 fret guitar ever! Excited :)
I absolutely love my SE 24-08. I actually like the TCI pickups from Paul's Guitar that they used for the SE - not that I would have complained about 85/15 either! I think the TCI-S pickups give a really nice balance if you do a lot of coil tapping and like traditional Strat and Les Paul classic rock tones. The 85/15 definitely have some more bite to them.
It’s sounding pretty ok through the phone!! 🤣🤣 it’s a functional mc giver for my shorts!!! I’m glad it’s working! Thanks for your support my brother! I appreciate you! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
If somebody gets a PRS that is not stable when using the Trem, I took mine apart and some of the 6 screws had metal shavings where they didn't clean the holes out after drilling them. Also, the screws are molded and not machined and they are not always straight. I improved it by cleaning the holes and the slots in the screws, but wound up going with a nice MannMade trem. Much better quality for sure. Wound up changing the tuners and swapped the pickups for Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded pickups. It's a much better guitar than when I got it. Oh, and I roughed up the neck with some green Scotch-brite which was a huge improvement for no cost. I still need to deal with the scratchy pots, but that's an easy fix. I agree that's it's a great guitar if you are willing to tweak it.
I’m glad you got it just right for you!! And Thanks for all the useful tips my friend!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I’m still due to change the tuners, but It can wait 🤣 it has for like 2 years already, it can keep on waiting lol
