In fact, it was a little bit too anti-immigrant for Democrats, but they supported it anyway because yes, too many immigrants are flocking here. But Trump said to Republicans, don't vote for it. It will solve the border crisis and then I'll have nothing to complain about for this election. So Republicans voted against it. And the Republicans who had worked to create the bill were enraged.
