Actually, it was Trump who first realized that Ukraine was no negotiating tool for Republicans when he said this on 2/14/24 in South Carolina: "But Biden is going to give him Ukraine the way it's looking to me. It's terrible." Obviously, after he gave Afghanistan to Taliban, why would he not give Ukraine to Putin?
