I went to school when we had prayer & bible recitation but nobody paid any attention to it! My parents did use the Bible at home and I believe that is where it should take place. I also believe if they are going to teach evolution then they need to teach creation too in public school.

I agree with no prayers that are sponsored by the state. If they let my pastor in and have those of my faith have prayer together that would be fine. We must not go back to the and do away with the Seperation of Church and state or we will be like it was in europe before we came up with this great experiment where the church was seperate from the state. When they wrote the and amendment, children weren't bringing guns to school and shooting fellow classmates on a daily basis. No one wants to take peoples guns away. No politician is currently running a campaign saying that. As a fervent Bernie Sanders independent, I'll say this man is extremely well spoken and level headed. I'm warmed by the fact that his first born son was a black boy he and his wife decided to adopt. And I find him to be at least in rhetoric, a moderate. I'm pleased with the ultimate decision to choose him as speaker and I wish him well.
