This was helpful. My speakers were close but I noticed a difference when trying to get the sound to “appear” just beside the speaker. I would have liked the sample sounds to play longer to avoid having adjust then rush back to the seat. Thanks for putting this out.
That test track is so useful. I played around with my speakers and my system does sound better. What else can I do to see where my system is at with this track?
My front wall is 7 feet speaker L is next to 15 ft of window R speaker at edge of wall with 10×10 open kitchen. Sheesh, not good huh. No headbanger but a pretty wide open apt. Any advise is much appreciated. Thanks
you may not be able to get all rooms to work perfectly, even dedicated rooms with acoustic treatment are not. The best thing to do is try to get the most of it. You mention the right speaker is at the edge of a wall. Is it open to the kitchen? Just trying to picture the layout.
@@Hifyed Thanks dudes..I'm in the process of getting some sort of acoustic curtains for the window side. The right; hopefully I'll figure it out. Really like your show. I've had a few systems in my young 72 years. Just that my new place is kinda awkward. Keep on..Oh and yes kitchen is wide open as the rest of 750 Sq. Ft. Ha only two doors bedroom bathroom.
Thank you! Acoustics curtains will help! What you want to do is properly dial in the toe in on the open side. Get your curtains and run that preview test track . This is a good way to see if your sound matches the location on the graphic. You will need to balance the open side by toe in etc. I’m currently trying to figure out videos that are easy to understand regarding all setup issues. Depending what your system is doing on the test track I can help you give you guidance.
