There have been a half dozen Gaza conflicts, since Hamas took over. Never a whisper from anyone ,in Gaza or outside, saying, "Let's not do that again. It;s bad for our children."

The problem that submitting the full case to the court is taking 6-8 months, that's what i heard today. That's insane. So this means the war will be going on for at least almost a year. But the Palestinians don't have this time left.
The hearings this past week were for provisional actions, I.E. the legal requirement of Israel to immediately cease all actions in Gaza while the real court case determining if genocide occurred is carried out - which will take multiple years. But for the provisional actions, there should be a ruling in the next week or so. For that, they only have to decide that it is reasonably possible that genocide has occurred.
So since some people don’t understand maths. There are hundreds of millions of people living a country. If a hundred or two hundred thousand of them come out in support of something, and they are loud and stuff, that doesn’t mean that the rest of the people in the country support them.
It is you my friend who doesn't "understand math". As a younger man I both took part in and organized demos for a different cause and I can tell you how hard it is to get even a hundred people to show up. Most people that support causes will wish you well or even support you financially but few are willing to take a whole day out of their life. Some are "Afraid" of getting arrested or attacked by counter demonstrators. Others are shy and some are just too old or handicapped to travel to the location. So here is some math . for everyone willing to put their beliefs on the line there are probably one hundred at home cheering them on.
