What does it mean, 'Friend'? What are our friendships all about, anyway? Photographer Bill Wadman and I look into the famous friendships of some of our favourite artists. Andy Warhol and Jean Michel Basquiat, Helen Frankenthaler and Grace Hartigan, and Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Gaugin all feature in our exploration of platonic relationship. Whether friendship is rooted in love or rivalry, full of envy or compassion, we all have experienced it, even if in absence. Are you a friend?
