What I like about this video is how Phil's personality unfolded a little; I got a better sense for who he is simply by hearing him speak his own language. You know what they say, you're never truly yourself in a foreign language. Also, Deana understood practically everything!

My comment for the non-native german speakers. I love to speak foreign languages and to learn new ones. Although i learned 6 years in school to speak english that isn't my favourite language. I love more to speak french, which I learned also in school for 6 years. My further languages in school were latin (I can still read a bit but no speaking) and russian, which I also love to speak. And I have never stopped to learn and to speak foreign languages. So my advise to you, carry on in learning and using foreign languages, it is an enrichment for your life. Best greetings from Germany and stay healthx in these difficult times.

the reason why some ppl pull the plug on the washing machine is, because the old houses dont have a separate circuit for washer and dryer. when you running both in the same time the circuit is overloaded. in modern houses there are usualy separate citcuit for washer and dryer, so there is then no reason to pull the plug. but you can do the math p= u x i ( 230v x 16a = 3680w) both machines running around 2000 to 2500w.

That was cute and very amusing. We have different accents in the USA too and sometimes, I can't understand them. I've been known to tell people, "I know you're speaking English but I don't know what the hell you're saying." I think you should borrow a child and do German games and toys. It would be even better if the kid didn't speak English.

Hello Phil, I'm sorry but I think Deana did really well coping with your constant instructions in German! I also preferred the look of her dinner until you stirred yours and mixed it all together. I learned Latin and French from age 8 to 10, then changed schools and went over the French first 3 years again. I was top of the class for the first three years and didn't really work at it until the 4th year started. I've visited Germany and Austria many times since childhood but never had a lesson on the language. I've forgotten ALL the Latin I was taught and most of the French, but I can get around in the German speaking world, mostly using "menu German". Nick, Hampshire UK.

Hey y'all! I'm Chloe. I have realised after watching for several hours Deana's accent switches quite a bit from Southern (US) to a Germanic accent (unk which), and sometimes a combination of both. It's quite cute actually! 💁🙈 lol
