+Aggelos Thomas Thank you for your coment i´m happy you enjoyed the video, soon i will have some more videos i´m just waiting for better water conditions. Stay safe and Happy spear.
Hi Shaka usually i can hold my breath from 1"30 to 2" 15 minutes dependes on how relaxed and stressed i´m in that specific day. Tanks for your comment i´m glad you enjoyed the video.
Sure thing I will enjoy this great video and I am spearfisher to but Iam afraid from what the cuda can do but your warrior and brave keep up the good work and stay save pro...... Love & peace
+jacob del nero Hi the float line was attached to my Sevylor line and the Sevylor was attached to the wreck. The cuda came in at 12 \ 13 meters. Tanks for your coment i´m glad you like the video.
Well as a Recon Marine Navy Diver you obviously don't know the cardinal rule: NEVER dive without your buddy. A tangled cord around your ankle and that powerful fish is going to let you rest in peace in your watery grave...
+Xavier Solmirin Hi There, It is a Rob Allen 5 meters float that can strech up to 10 meters. Tanks for your comment i´m glad you liked the video. Go check my other videos i have one other great barracuda video smaller than this one ( only 25 Kg) but very exciting too.
+Xavier Solmirin Oh OK it is a Sevylor Dive Hunter SDB120 and yes it is a very good help when you shoot a bigger fish couldn´t have captured that fish without it.
+ParaChromis Arshad Hi, yes! it was all eaten, and yes some are infected with the ciguatera toxin but we eat them anyways and hope for the best :-) cause they are a tasteful fish when grilled a little bit dry but tastefull.
nowadays all oceans are infected by nuclear leaking from Japan after tsunami disaster. so..... my friend do you consume fish or others sea product?? you are so silly.....
Drew Withington because it was alive! And that is what we do in spearfishing... We kill fish because it is what we do in a sustainable way and only after assessing the species the size and ecological impact and nutritional value. Unlike trawlers who catch all kinds of fish species of all sizes and as bonuses destroy the bottom of the oceans. Tank's for watching and in the future if you know you dont like what you will watch please dont watch.
The big picture is that we live on a finite planet and if we carry on exploiting it as we are we are fucked as a species, and will have no alternative to finding somewhere to live - as Stephen Hawking says. How can I know what I like unless i try it?
Drew Withington his impact is no more (minimal) than the big companies that catch the fish you eat! So is his right to catch the fish he would eat...if you are concern have no kids and promote it..lol! What can mess this planet as we know it is too much of "us" throwing everything out of balance!
+zeusfaber11 Hi mate i´m sure not a professional and i dont intend to be one and you ar rigth the barracuda is not a 40 Kilo it is a 39,7 Kilo was weigthed with 3 witnesses and Photografed you can chek my other video with a smaller one also unprofessionally catch one weak before this one with 25+ Kg. tanks for your coment M8. ;-)
+Bruno Alves I didn t mean to offend you with this comment,, it s just that i am also a spearo,, i catch big trevally, tuna,, and also barracuda,,, i was in some dangerous situations with big fish so I am just telling you this is no joke,,, why don t you have a break away system??? the shaft and line goes away from the gun and on the float and you have the gun in your hand,,, i shot a 31 kg barracuda and it looked way bigger than this one.. and if u have the camera on your head (like I do) u have to be very careful how you move your head,, otherwise it s a mess to watch,, those are just some friendly suggestions..
+zeusfaber11 No way i got offended with you coment i like people to coment and expose their view whether good or bad, and thats why i upload this videos so i can get this difrent opinions. If i only wanted cumpliments i show it only to my family :-). I always learn something from what people say. I know i wasn´t prepered for that fish but has i always say you have two options " you shoot the fish or you shoot the fish" and then you deal with the situation the best you can. :-) :-) this barracuda is a African great barracuda they are a lot thicker than the usual slim barracudas and that´s why she was so hevy i have one other video of a 25+ barracuda and that is a normal great barracuda if you pay attencion their color is a lot difrent the african great barracuda has a darker and yellowish skin. Any ways i tank you a lot for your coment and if ever consider spear African waters just let me know and i will be glad to take you to some nice spots. Stay safe mate.
you have no clue of what you are saing matte, if you know Gopro you should know thar if you are going 20 kms per hour in a gopro point of view looks like you are going 80+ Kms... If it makes you fell better i can assure you that not one child or adult were in risk due to my driving.( By the way if you hit the brakes at 20km speed when driving in sand the car will stop instantanly). Best regards and tanks for watching and comment.
+Bruno Alves I know about go pro And other sport cam. in your video is clearly visible The Child running out while youre approaching. Thankyou too And dive safe.
Yes the child was running i guess he got scared because he din´t heard the car until i was too close...( that proves i was driving slowly ;-) ) But i was watching him all the time i´m a very carful driver.
