My first day in Costa Rica and I went spear fishing with my amigo Thomas Frietag he took me out to a private beach out near a cool reef with pretty awesome fishes and stuff. We saw spotted eagle rays and box fish some sargent something or others all in all it was a pretty awesome day except the second degree sunburns on my legs. anyways I have another spear fishing episode coming up because we go out with a pro.

Loved the life down there. Most of it was quite familiar to me, the sergeant fish etc, I guess the water temperature is similar to where I have been diving. Was it around 28°? Your buddy would know. He has a Dive Computer on his wrist.

Krishnendu Kes I will have to ask him but it was definitely warm. We would hit some cold pockets and obviously the further down you go the colder it got

Krishnendu Kes 27 degrees is what he said and the cold spots dropped down to about 21 degrees.

Jay Roque I met the shark that played jaws really nice in when not acting. I did see a lil shark today which was pretty awesome

It was a lot of fun watching the pros do it that is for sure. Guancaste province I believe. That was in Playas del Coco. Have fun spear fishing
