do you worry about ciguatera? im wanting to sail the caribbean and fish my meals from the ocean as well. i just learned of this and it concerns me not being familiar with caribbean and the bahamas
filleting your fish fresh out of the water like you guys were is very bad for the taste of your fillets cutting into the muscle while their is still alive releases a shit ton of adrenaline into their meat causeing it to taste like garbage.
+Jim Kaskrin We fillet them on the boat on the way home so we have time to relax when we get back and also to avoid the swarm of flies at the cleaning dock..!
+Alexandro Mullings Assuming you mean the one that is clear at the 9:00 mark. It is the Florida Freedivers fiberglass one. This was are first trip with it and it was love at first shot.. Definitely worth checking out!
