I wonder if a shark grabbed it🤔 I didn't feel it, but that might be what happened.

They're a fairly soft fish - but they also go mental and will tear themselves in half. Better to go forward in the shoulders and try for a gill plate. @@DownDeep

Hey mate! Welcome to the channel. I have been spearfishing for about 15 years now. I think what helped me get better is diving with people that are better then me. Having no ego and asking a lot of questions from my betters. I learned a lot from Tim McDonald. He has a great youtube channel to. I would highly recommend checking out his videos on improving your spearfishing. Learning to relax while breathing up is key
