Join Max for some hole hunting in Humboldt County. After being on the road for a few months in their skoolie, Max gets a chance to go spearfishing in Northern California for the first time. Although hunting in murky water is new, he manages to spear a perch and cooks it up in fish wraps later that evening. Enjoy this first ever buslife/spearfishing video! Cheers!

Hi Kids! Max, glad to see you made it out spearfishing. How did the suit work out? Glad to see you got to use it on your adventure. Now admit it, lake diving is way better than diving in the ocean, right? LOL!!!! Did those fires in Northern California affect your plans at all?

Hey Roland! The suit works great, did some lake diving with it in Washington as well. Thank you so much for it! Haha after this dive I wasn’t so sure! The fires kept us from going north inland, so we stayed on the coast after this video. Next video will be posted within the next week!

Never dove Humboldt, I hear the jetty produces, but almost feels like shooting fish in a barrel. If you head down to Ft Bragg/Mendo , the water clears up a lot.
