The wiring instructions are awful. The headlights have the headlight plug and an additional three wire plug that is obviously not plugging into anything in the vehicle. The three plug harness has a red, a black and a white. What goes where? Thanks!
Hi Specdtuning, i have a question regarding installing this LED Projector Headlights MK6 VW Jetta: Did you have to change something with voltage for the DRL Led lights? Because i am having desame one now in my VW Jetta 2013 Hybrid but de DRL Led light lightning are way to low and nowhere near the power like the one you have on your video. I hope for your answer thanks
I recently purchased these lights the install was great. But I'm having trouble with my blinkers I can't seem to get them to work on the headlights, any suggestion? Also i was wondering what the adjustment screws are for?
Calvin Ng The headlights are a plug and play. If they are not working you should double check the fuse on the vehicle to make sure that is not the problem. Another problem would be the bulbs themselves. The adjustment screws help you adjust the headlights low/high beam in order to get more lighting toward the road.
Hello SkiRaceGeek, Our headlights have a solenoid cover for the low beam. Essentially the cover will come up when you need to use your high beams and exposes more light to the road.
Question: recently purchased a set of lights and when i installed there is a set of wires red, black, and white with a connect clip, right under the headlight cover. What Is this connector for??? Please help!!!!
EMDMIJO Hello, you will need to wire the red wires to a power wire and a black to a ground wire. The white clip you do not have to worry about. That is used for the Euro made VW that comes equipped auto-adjusting motor(not applicable on the US models).
Hello Jonathan, The grille on this vehicle is essentially held on by the 2 screws on the top and a couple a clips around the grille. A little bit of pulling force will have to be used. I hope this helped.
Hello Chris, Yes, our headlights are plug and play. All the resistors are set to let your vehicle know the lights are working properly. You will not need to change any codes or re-program.
Hello Janusan jeyadevan, The headlights are equipped with H1 halogen bulbs. Although we do not recommend any alterations to the headlights. For example installing a HID(High Intensity Discharge) Kit.
So you can install leds without having to mess with the vag-com, its just plug and play? Because i was under the impression that you have to mess with the computer so the leds function properly or was i lied to or is that mk5 models lol im new to vw sorry
Ulises Rangel The headlights are equipped with a resistor for the LED bulbs that tell the computer they are using up the volts as if it were a halogen bulb. In other worked our manufacture made the headlights so you will not have to worry about re-programing the VAG-COM. I hope this information was useful.
good afternoon. I bought these lights are great, but I have a problem with the LED light is a part that does not turn you can change the LED ?. Thank you
+Reinaldo Alain Hernández Valdés The headlights come equipped with a turn signal bulbs. The application is a plug and play. If for some reason the bulb stops working you can replace it by removing the cover behind the headlight unit and replacing the bulb. I hope this information helps.
Hello andres hume The headlights LED bar are the Daytime Running Lights of the vehicle. There are about 20 SMD LED bulbs that are bright, but they are not to illuminate in the dark road. Unfortunately the headlights are sealed and we do not recommend you open the headlights. Thus the LED bulbs are not replaceable.
+Steven Bretsch The bulbs on our headlights are replaceable. The headlights are equipped with H1 bulbs for both high and low beam. I hope this information is helpful.
+osvaldo galvan Yes the headlights are HID compatible. The headlights are equipped with H1 bulbs. Any H1 HID kit will suffice. Be aware if you have xenon or HID bulbs from factory the headlights will NOT work.
wait, .....2011-2013 only? I thought they also work for 2014 model Jettas?.....please somebody tell me if I can get those lights for my 2014 Jetta SEL !!??
+White Kitta I apologize about that. I will update the title of the video. The headlights will fit your 2014 VW Jetta. Make sure you do not have stock Xenon/HID kit. The connector are different and will not fit your vehicle.
+Spec D Tuning 9 months after you told +Kita and you still haven't updated the title of the video. Just wondering when you were gonna get around to doing that. Thanks
