I love this man so much. My friend, Howie Tee surprised me with a surprise phone call from Ed and I almost screamed. We chopped it up for a minute and I had the chance to tell him that his music was/is everything to me and to never stop. He gets busy on that microphone at the drop of a dime. I listen to Neva Go Back and The Mission almost daily. #anditsstillallgood Oooh, and he was my play husband when I was little.
This dudes freestyles are incredible. I remember listening to him kill it on Sway and Teck. Too sick. He had prolific skills for the era that he came out in too.
Ric Smith OKAAAAAY! I'll never forget goin' into Tower Records and finding it without a poster or anything. I was very pleased with it. Things happened internally, but it's all good.
listen Special Ed is one of My favorite Rappers of all time .. But I'm GLAD Khalil Kain got the role as Raheem .. He was great .. Khalil Became My favorite actor ... Shout out to both brothers
He is not light skin lol... Why is attractiveness equated with light. Yes I'm light skin, Black and Borica.... however, brown and black are beautiful too. Stop perpetuating that light skin bullshit.
Von Lee yeah he's not, more cinnamon or caramel and what in the world is "good hair"? I can't stand ignorant black ppl like this guy interviewing Special Ed. I know what he means by good hair, it's not course or like the average black person's black hair, it's curly, slick and whatever, but how is that any better than any other black persons? Yes, Special Ed is fine!! But he's not light skin and all hair is good hair.
We saw the violent and obnoxious side of Pac, but sometimes his altruism gets buried. Check out clothing designer Karl Kani telling the story of Pac refusing to charge him for a photo shoot.
Press Secretary Nevis me too and he lives here in my city, Charlotte, now. He better watch out. I promise to God if I see him, it's on. I know what grocery store he shops and his where abouts. (I mean that in a non stalkerish way).
Ray Robinson how is everyone in Charlotte running into him except me????? I even have family in Ballentyne and still never run into him when I'm over there. I know that has to be the side of Charlotte he lives since he's a celebrity. Was he cool?
Ray Robinson dang, for real?? Not too far from where I live. I guess he goes all over Charlotte. Maybe there's no telling where he might pop up! I go to this carribean restaurant called carribean hut every thursday, or every other Thursday, and it's run by jamaicans and they get a lot of Jamaican clientele. I wonder if he'll ever come in there, even though it's out in the university area.
I wish y'all would quit with this who's underrated... Most of these rappers are nice in some way... It's the radio & tv who decides who you're going to listen to over a time period... Its an agenda, not your free will...
I remember my off the wall middle age white English teacher having a crush on Raheem or whatever his name is saying he was "cute". Knowing pac I bet he went and cursed the director the hell out like "you better let my man get on this movie". He busted the Hughes brothers ass on the set of menace 2 society and lost the part which worked out better anyways.
Ed is Indian. He would of made a way more realistic character than raheim. He doesnt get the recognition he deserves. But what real dude does? " it's not about the t.v. or movies it's about millions of people coinciding together" all these new age dudes is only about entertaining the weak minded with nonsense.
tingsgwan how would he have made a better Raheem then Khalil Kain because he's part Indian? he's still black and Raheem's character wasn't Indian he was black or biracial like the guy who played hin, Khalil kain is half asian, but the movie had nothing to do with Indian guys, it was about 4 black guys.
Lisa Lisa uhhhhh.....where in my comment did I say it was about Indian guys or that he was supposed to be Indian????wtf??? I said ed is Indian. (Period)...... Then I said he would of made a better character because he's a real street dude who wold of came off more authentic because he was more real in general in terms you can understand. Did that clarify my statement
tingsgwan u keep saying he's Indian and he would have made a better Raheem because he's Indian. Raheem's character wasn't Indian and Ed is half Indian and I'm pretty sure his driver license says black. He lives in my city and I gaurantee if I look up his race and ethnicity under voters.com for our county his race says black.
Lisa Lisa again slow one. I am half Indian so I said hey yeah ed is Indian to. Then I go into saying how he's more of an authentic street dude than the raheem in the movie. Raheem in the movie was a bad actor a square and not believable. I never once said he was better cause he was Indian. And this was not about race at all. It was about a more realistic street dude. So I can clearly see if you didn't get it this time sorry for you have a good day
tingsgwan slow one. Ur the one who brought Indian into it so u brought race into it. And his race says African American under voters.com here in Mecklenburg county. He's more black than anything.
